From start to finish Baldoyle Blinds…

From start to finish Baldoyle Blinds were fantastic. Vanessa was so nice and informative, she booked my call out. Joe came and was such a lovely gentleman and so helpful. The lad came on the day and put up my new blinds. They looked lovely. Small problem with 1 blind but Joe was amazing, I'm so grateful to him. I was stressed as I had surgery next day. But Joe organised for Declan to come and he fixed the blind in 5 minutes. Thank you to Vanessa, Declan and mostly Joe.

Highly Recommend

Fantastic experience with Baldoyle Blinds. Their teams are amazing, very knowledgable, make selecting blinds very easy and stress free. From their measurement service to their fitting service and their customer service… exceptional!

Fantastic

Keith was fantastic, see review sent to company. He was so helpful, went above and beyond. His advice was excellent and his work quick, neat and tidy. Having got quotes from a competing store Baldoyle Blinds came out much cheaper and when giving a time for the windows they were there bang on. Highly recommend

Got to say dealing with Baldoyle Blinds…

Got to say dealing with Baldoyle Blinds has been a great experience start to finish from the show room with Dillon to the fitter Keith, an absolute gent.
Very hard to find such service these days on top of which they are very competitively priced.
I’d highly recommend Baldoyle Blinds.

I was graciously received by a very…

I was graciously received by a very nice, friendly , young lady,
I needed to have two blinds repaired.
The blinds were repaired within fifteen minutes.
I was agreeably surprised to learn that there was no charge as I was a customer.
During my visit I was able to sit in a lovely comfortable sofa.
The showroom was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
I have now submitted an order for new blinds in my kitchen/living room area.
The man who came to measure for the new blinds was very pleasant and helpful.

Pay in full before you see what you're buying

Went all the way to Baldoyle Blinds showroom yesterday (they are in an industrial estate, so the only way was taxi there and back), and spoke at length to their very friendly and nice staff who are welcoming and give you plenty of time to chat with them. They are advertised constantly on Q102 and seemed to me like the ideal local company to go for.

While the staff are lovely, the company's policies they are forced to impose on customers are another matter.

In the whole hour or more than I was there, the sales rep was not able to show me a single actual physical blind that might correspond to anything I was looking for.

When I asked about certain blinds I'd seen on the website, I was told the website is being changed and anything I saw there has since been discontinued.

I was not encouraged to look at anything on display in their showroom - and when I did look, I couldn't see anything vaguely relevant to the simple blinds I wanted to order.

The place doesn't have a single picture of an ordinary blind on an ordinary house window on display - only surreal artistic drawings of the interiors of goodness knows where on the walls.

I was not shown any kind of photo that might give me an idea of how one of their blinds might look in a regular home. I'm pretty sure that I asked to see some kind of picture, and was told they couldn't show me anything.

I was told that the guy who calls to your house to measure up will only bring the patches of fabric - and you decide based on that.

Once you agree to go ahead (based on being shown the small patch of material), you must pay In Full, Upfront, before any work begins.

When I asked why, the sales rep told me that is their policy, and that they do the same with the likes of the 3Arena and other big boots clients like that, and it's grand for everyone and everyone is so happy with it.

When I asked the sales rep what happens if we aren't happy with the job after it's done (when we have paid them the full amount in advance), she said "That's what the customer chose." This sales rep was a lovely woman to talk to. But to me, "that's what the customer chose" is letting me know that with this company, once you've agreed to a product and paid for it in full (before seeing it or having it installed first), you can go whistle.

I did expect to have to pay a deposit of up to 50% in advance, but not 100%. Going by some of their other reviews on here, I'm not their only customer who ever had a problem with that. It was explained to me they have had problems in the past with getting paid full amount. But this seems an extreme way to tackle that.

Since visiting Baldoyle Blinds I've gone back to their trustpilot reviews and there are definitely some customers who were unhappy with the job - having paid in full in advance - and who had a bad experience when they tried to complain at that stage.

When I initially looked up BB on here, I ignored the bad reviews as I wanted to give BB the full benefit of the doubt.

When I called them this morning to voice these concerns ahead of my scheduled appointment with an advisor on Monday, I was shut down very quickly and told that "Baldoyle Blinds is clearly not for you and we are cancelling your appointment."

Yep, that's exactly what I was ringing to do anyway, sadly. But, having invested so much energy in this firm, I wanted them to understand why first. They are really not that interested in knowing why. After all, they have bigger fish to fry like the 3Arena?!

I was told there are loads of blinds in their showroom, so what was I talking about (yet, I was with a sales rep the whole time I was in store, and was only shown patches of fabric - and told that any blinds I saw on the website are no longer in store).

I looked around the store and couldn't see any physical product that would help me make a decision, nor was the sale rep pointing me in the direction of anything on display.

And for most of the time I was there I had to talk to the sales rep through a full-sized 2021-style Covid screen.

With regret as it was nice meeting them, I do not recommend this company.

Excellent choice and service

Second time to use Baldoyle Blinds and they were excellent on both occasions. Extensive choice of products and great advice offered by Mary. Appointment dates quick and times adhered to. Quick and pleasant installation and place left spotless. Would recommend .

Great value for blinds and excellent…

Great value for blinds and excellent customer service. Couldn’t be happier with my new blinds. Really recommend Baldoyle Blinds for anybody who is looking for amazing quality blinds with hassle-free installation.

Highly recommended

I would highly recommend Baldoyle Blinds. I had my home fitted with blinds, as did my daughter, we found prices competitive and the product was of high standard. They offer an excellent home service with samples and measuring. I dealt with Mary and Keith, they were both very helpful and friendly. Their showrooms are well set up, with a great variety of various blinds for customers to view. Wishing the company every success in the future.

Baldoyle blinds were a pleasure to deal…

Baldoyle blinds were a pleasure to deal with. From the very first phone call to Sinead who offered great advice and Joe who came out with samples and again offered lots of advice and ideas and then the guy who fitted the blinds who was so super quick and neat.
I’d highly recommend using this company for their service, price and wide choice of products. They were so helpful and accommodating from start to finish.

I recently bought blinds from Baldoyle…

I recently bought blinds from Baldoyle Blinds and I am extremely happy with the service provided. All the staff are so efficient and friendly. From measuring to fitting I was very impressed as they arrived on time and always rang in advance. To Joe, Neil and Keith thank you for your friendly attitude and great customer service. Poorly constructed blinds and no resolution

I will note that the service I received was in 2021 and during Covid so I understand that delays were occurring this time period and I was understanding of this.

Salesman came out to my house promptly and measured up the window for a blind. I had picked out the material already in the showroom and was happy with the sales people too and the input they provided.

However, the installation/the blind itself/aftercare is why I'm giving a low rating. Two installers arrived to install one blind and when I viewed the finished article I indicated that it didn't look right as it was sloping to one side. I was informed that I would need to contact the office about this as they just install. I did and was informed that I would receive a call back. I waited as this was in the height of Covid so understood that delays due to backlogs were occurring. However, I never received a call back and I called approx 2 months later again and received the same response. Very disappointing service and in the end I had to leave following up with the company for a resolution due to a bereavement in my family.

It appears that the fault in the blind is that it was poorly constructed as it's not evenly sewn. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this company due to the poor service I've received.
