I purchased two watches from Baltany UK. One watch is if excellent quality but sadly the other one developed a fault after just two days. The watch needed to be returned for repair. From this moment on, customer service has frankly been dreadful. No one monitors online chat....ever!!!! It also takes days and multiple emails for anyone to respond. When they do respond, they provide hollow promises. The watches are of excellent quality for the price so it is such a shame that for me anyway, the customer service means I will not purchase from them again.

The watch arrived promptly and when I opened the box I was immediately delighted to find a beautiful quality automatic watch fit for a king. I have taken great pride in wearing it regularly. I have collection of many British designers automatics. And this fits in perfectly with my collection. I would highly recommend this British design of watches to anyone who loves quality and great design.

I absolutely love watches and have amassed quite a collection over the years. I recently had my eye on a Rolex Explorer 36mm and joined a waiting list at my local authorised dealer, only to be told that it would take around 18 months before I could be eligible to purchase the watch at the princely sum of £6300. I have never owned a 36mm diameter watch before, so I have no idea whether or not I will enjoy wearing it long-term. Long story short, I started doing some online research and came across the Baltany Discoverer 36mm, a homage piece to the aforementioned Rolex. I also found lots of good reviews for the Baltany Discoverer 36 and decided to pull the trigger. My original idea was to buy the watch and wear it so I could get an idea of how I would feel wearing a 36mm watch, before deciding to spend 30 times as much on the real thing! The watch took about a week to arrive and I unboxed it with anticipation. Inside the simple grey cardboard box is a beautifully made faux leather pouch containing the watch. It also comes with the relevant tools for resizing the bracelet, as well as a warranty card, instructions, and a cleaning cloth. The pouch is nicely made and very useful for when travelling. As for the watch itself, it is absolutely stunning. The workmanship and finish lend a very high-end feel to the watch, utilising 316L stainless steel, a sapphire crystal and applied indices on the watch face, giving it a premium look. As for the 36mm size, the watch sits perfectly on my 6.75-inch wrist after removing three links, and it does not look small at all. I have had so many compliments on the watch. I am truly amazed that a piece of this quality can be sold at such a ridiculously low price. I even tested the accuracy of the Seiko NH38 movement and it runs at -3s per day. That's within Chronometer spec! I cannot rate this watch highly enough and despite a couple of very slight niggles (the bracelet clasp sits a little high and the crown has a very slight angle on it, I am very happy with my purchase. In fact, I don't think I'll bother purchasing the Rolex and just wear this instead.

Couldn't have picked a better watch for my fathers 70th birthday and he's blown away by it and I'm very much looking forward to seeing him wear it for many years to come

A great homage to a timeless look and an incredible watch for the cost, would recommend to anyone interested in the brand or model, you won't be disappointed

Superb watch at a great price

I recently purchased a rotated cushion watch with lume. I asked about a different strap prior to purchase, the company said 'not a problem, let us know your order number and we will pop it in the box, free of charge'
They duly did exactly as they promised. The watch arrived in a really nice presentation box with a leather travel case holding the watch inside. Just three days from purchase and it is on my wrist. I am blown away with the quality and customer service. Why cant all watch companies be like this!

I am pleased to write this review on my experience of Baltany Watches having bout two watches during the last 2 months.
My first purchase was their 1921 Quartz which was a shock to say the least as given its cost the presentation, pouch, cleaning cloth, springbar tool and last but not least the watch being simply great.
Being a watch collector with several expensive watches I seriously considered buying a VC but could justify its cost and liking its style with the cushion case and slated dial I took a chance with the Baltany 1921 and I'm sure glad I did.
My 2nd purchase was a Oyster 1926 where again it was just was better than one should expect at the price, it's just one super watch.
I chose the quartz options as my mechanical watches are all (so-called) high end and frankly it's a pain keeping them all working as a regularly swap which watch I wear - as an aside I am wearing my Oyster 1926 as I write this review, it's just a great watch.
One very happy buyer, keep it up Baltany.

Watch arrived quickly, but not working. Three emails and a phone call and eventually a reply. Hoping to get this resolved as the watch was a gift. Very disappointing that it isn’t working
