BambooHR has transformed our company! The platform is so user-friendly, and the customer service is unmatched.

BambooHR has been a great product for our organization. The design allows for ease of use by all team members and the online Help Centre is a great resource to assist in set up and ongoing modifications to the system. We really appreciate the quick turnaround to more complex questions through the Help Desk. The Help Desk team is solutions oriented and certainly timely in their responses.

Very user friendly platform, easy to log time off requests and export the data to excel along with tracking employee salaries and info.

Overall, BambooHR has been very helpful for a HRIS tool. However, there is still some manual processes with onboarding, transfers, and off-boarding. It seems that the offboarding tasks do not get triggered within the workflow like the onboarding ones. I also wish there was more integration with other platforms for background checks and benefits administration.

BambooHR is a broad-spectrum HR solution: reasonably good at everything but not the greatest for most things. However, it is much better to have an integrated suite than to have multiple very specialized platforms, both from a cost and a usability perspective. All in all, we love the product!
Their support is top-notch, as is their product management. Most of the new features are things that make us happy ;)

Down here, in our company, BambooHR is our HR lifeline. Personally, I've been logging my hours, slapping on my travel deets, and snagging days off – all just through this platform. No need for pesky emails or playing phone tag.

I've used Bamboo in a number of organisations and I can only assume they fired all of their software developers in the year 2000 because the interface and features are what I'd expect from that era.
One-to-ones are a good example. This is a critical activity within HR to loop after people, yet one-to-ones are displayed in a table with narrow columns AND IN REVERSE ORDER. Who the hell though that was a good idea?

My HR Director initiated contact with BambooHR and after reviewing the product I (HR Manager) decided to contract with them. I executed the contract, I used my credit card for monthly service dues. My HR Director terminated employment with my company shortly after. Within weeks of executing our agreement, we decided to terminate this agreement prior to implementation. We had invested over $6k and the sales rep and implementation specialist stalled and would not stop charging my card, told me that my former supervisor would have to approve the termination (knowing she was gone!!), stalled some more and said the CEO of the company would need to terminate the contract. We are talking an international company with a CEO who does not engage in matters like this. They would not allow the VP of Global HR to terminated this contract, not the CFO, and all the while continued to charge monthly services fees (thousands $$$) waiting on a termination letter from a former employee or the CEO. In good faith I entered an agreement with them. I executed the document and was unable to terminate the contract. As the executer of their agreement, I should have had authority to engage and disengage. I cannot in good faith ever recommend a company with such deviant business practices and steer all of my collogues and friends completely away from them based on this experience. The experience happened in from December 2022 and well into 2023.

Yea since we’ve started with these people my pay check is similar to a Ferris wheel. I used to receive it every other Wednesday between 5:38 - 5:42 pm. Every single time. With Bamboozle, it’s Thursday morning, Friday morning or afternoon. Heck even at 2:46 am one time. So I call and of course they won’t tell me anything I’m not the contact person so. All these companies use every excuse to not help people. Their favorite word is unfortunately…….

Bamboo is easy to use and looks pretty, but their customer support is the absolute worse. When I ask a question, they ask me to read an article or it just gets bounced around from person to person and does not actually get resolved. Or they attempt to resolve it but ask you first to answer 15+ questions.

We are using the advantage package, which you would think covers everything since it costs $450 USD per month. But you have to pay extra for performance management.

There is no option to bulk download all your employee data you would have to do it person by person. So once you enter the data in their system good luck getting it out. If I knew all this before I joined I would have gone with another HRIS system.

As a manager of a marketing team, HR responsibilities can become a huge distraction to the work I actually need to get done. HR became something I hated dealing with, but Bamboo HR has made it so much easier. Their platform is great and easy to work with. Employees have the responsibility to do a lot of the work themselves, but the manager can do a lot of HR-related tasks easily and quickly on their platform. The automation of certain HR responsibilities makes my life much easier. I think anyone looking to automate more HR would be very happy with Bamboo HR.

The personalized experience I have when speaking and working with a team member from BambooHR makes my day. Their team has assisted our company in assuring we get the best out of the HRIS customized to our company's needs.

I have been using BambooHR for 6+ years now and love their system. It is super easy to use and they are continually updating the system for ease and functionality. They also allow users to put in system requests and if they receive enough, the update may happen. Being that we have out of state employees, the electronic signatures make it possible to on-board efficiently and it has a time stamp feature for the person who sent the file and the person who signed the file. We recently started using their Time Tracking system and it too is super easy, no more submitting time cards, and when an employee uses PTO, it automatically fills in on their time sheet.

We have been using BambooHR since 2016. I thought the software was amazing then, but it continues to evolve. Last month, we transitioned to the Advantage Plan. We enabled the employee satisfaction and wellbeing features, amazing stuff.

BambooHR has been a total game changer for our company! It brings important functions into one application & saves us so much time & frustration. I wish we would have starting using BambooHR so much sooner!

The Village of Tequesta has been using BambooHR since Feb 2016. We first heard of them after googling the top cloud based HRIS of 2015 and the reviews were spot on. I could rave all day long about their hiring, benefits, time-off, performance management, training, employee satisfaction, employee well-being, onboarding and off-boarding modules, just to name a few, but I'll keep it simple with this advice - JUST DO IT! You will not regret it. Their prices are also reasonable for all the updates that we get on a regular basis. The Hiring module saved my sanity over the past 2 years with the speed that we were able to replace personnel due in part to their partnership with Indeed and Ziprecruiter at no additional cost.
The only challenge that I've experienced is related to the fact that we are a municipality with unions and public safety personnel (police/fire) whose work hours are unique and whose benefits are tied to their unions, but we've been able to implement some work-arounds using other resources that we have in place. We've not used their Payroll module which was more recently added, so I'm not able to comment on that.
Overall, it has been a wonderful experience and their customer support is outstanding.

I am an enthusiastic fan of BambooHR. The platform is user friendly and simple to use. And most importantly, the customer support team is the best I've ever had the opportunity to work with.

This is the most customer facing service I have ever came across, has all you need and can develop extra bits for something that you need or help you choose among trusted partners.

BambooHR has simplified the HR process tremendously. Every bit of information and documentation is stored in a centralised, safe place and having sign-off is an absolute breeze. I am a huge fan of BambooHR and I highly recommend them.

UI is exceptional and intuitive, resulting in zero need to train users.

I particularly enjoy its performance management processes. They're quick, easy and low effort for users.

The FAQs and help guides are excellent. It's easy to find out an answer without the need to reach out to their support team.

Get it, it's a no brainer.
