Pretty solid ngl

Recently purchased bamboo for screening from this company. Really helpful advice given, communication was great and plants arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Would definitely use Bambookings for future purchases. Highly recommended.

Luke and co could not have been more professional in the job they did absolutely lovely fellas and will definitely be using Luke again in the future and also recommending to my friends.

Excellent service and quality of plants, I was offered to see and pick the plants myself, I was shown different bamboo and plants, advised upon what plants would go well together along with information on caring for the plants such as "in the summer only water in the morning when it's cool" and what plants do well in partial shade and full sunlight. I can't praise them another and have to say thank you to them, they really helped me out in a pinch!

I picked up two beautiful, healthy plants, and they’ve already brightened up my garden. You can really tell the plants are well cared for and grown with love. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer advice. It’s great to support a small, independent business that puts so much heart into what they do.

Purchased two Bamboo from bamboo king as my usual provider was out of stock. Bamboo arrived boxed and the root was wrapped in a plastic bag. The root had been halved in two like two semi circles so to make two parts. Basically they’re mis-selling and passing off one bamboo as two. Customer service was extremely poor - telling me I have to post this back myself and I have to wait for the returns label to be sent. Wish I had read reviews before spending £60

Update - no aggressive messages were sent, more lies from Bamboo Kings. You sent a returns label after me asking over and over. The post office refused the parcel due to the size of the box as you wouldn’t arrange pick up. EBay did step in thankfully and refunded me due to the poor condition and state of the bamboo. Avoid this company and check reviews.

Went back and screen shot every bit of communication with Bamboo Kings. Will be posting it to show there was no abusive messages.

Do not use there are far better companies, dishonest about the size of plants,mine were 200mm shorter ,laurel trees were supposed to be 150cm+ as advertised most were 130cm and not the best quality,
They have been sent photos but seem to struggle to read measurements on engineers staff .( I Measured from the ground including the pot)

We ordered 8 Portuguese Laurels in December. The delivery was quick with good customer service allowing us to have the plants delivered on a day that suited us. Unfortunately the tops were broken off 6 of the plants when they arrived and the boxes dented and crumpled in places but other than that the plants were healthy and bushy. They’ve been in the ground a couple of weeks now and are still looking healthy and bushy. The broken off tops are in water to see if they root (which will give us 6 extra plants!) and are also still looking happy and healthy. We would definitely use this supplier again and recommend them.

I bought two bare root phyllostachys bissettii clumps in May 24 for a trough to supply screening, and they’ve grown brilliantly. I wasn’t sure if two were enough so asked for advice and got a quick and helpful response. They were tall when they arrived, and they’ve shot up and thickened out since. And less than half the price of buying a similar size elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Our single stem bamboo plants were delivered well after the originally-stated shipping time and no growing instructions were included in the packaging. Despite this, I still left positive feedback on their Ebay sellers page as I was happy to get the plants. What a mistake that was.

Despite watering them three times daily in good potting compost during the hottest June on record, approx one third of the plants eventually died. Please see pictures. Asked for replacements but as it had passed the 30 day period, the owner - Luke Goodall - argued the toss, yet finally agreed to send replacements which had no tracking info and never arrived.

Shocking customer service from start to finish - all this from a company purporting to be a 'family-run firm'. Avoid at all costs or face the same misery we did. I'll look forward to your considered reply here, Mr Goodhall.

Bought their items off eBay. Found out one particular bamboo I'd ordered was invasive and you should not plant it else you might get it over running your garden and beyond, and your neighbours or council may demand you remove every last remnant or get sued. No warning on product page. Owner got angry at my eBay feedback, called me and threatened to sue me for defamation. Go ahead, sue. And when you do, I will reply with a criminal complaint of harassment. Bye
