Just impossible to unsubscribe. Don't sign up unless you want their emails for ever. I have been trying for weeks to unsubscribe as not interested in the sort of concerts they promote.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Login issues & no support
I used app once or twice for tickets & it worked well, but now after app update it doesn’t let me log in. I’ve tried logging in via, email, google, facebook, Spotify AND Apple ID and I just get sent around in circles by the app front page with various errors (no network, settings issues etc). I emailed support but they didn’t even both to reply. So now cannot buy tickets at all via app as cannot log in. What a joke.
Needs work- promoting counterfeit merch
I am a user not an artist so this is from a customer perspective- there are definitely some opportunities to improve
Please stop sending me notifications at 5 am ! Give options to silence during certain times for users plz
Provide an opportunity for direct feedback on your app so I don’t have to submit my beefs publicly
Let me pick a broader distance or more than one city at the same time! I’m willing to drive for a show let me expand to whatever distance I choose and be notified about my artists in the cities ( not just by venue)
Artists beware- they’re including links on your page that instead of going to the bands official site, go to merch that’s counterfeit, not associated with the artist and/or advertised on just random websites all over the net. And presented in a way to customers that is deceptive. Also encountered a case where i went to hit listen and got the completely wrong artist with the same name (which is also an opportunity for partner Spotify) make sure your site has correct information please.
SPAM CENTRAL
Signed up for ONE artist and they are emailing me almost daily, I have unsubscribed THREE times and still getting emails. Absolutely do not recommend as this company do not respect people's boundaries or privacy
Somehow got on their email list
Somehow got on their email list, getting spammed every day and they will not honor my unsubscribe request. Will not ever do business with them and wish they would just leave me alone
Does NOT honor "unsubscribe" requests
Not sure how I got on their emailing list but have tried unsubscribing a dozen times over the past 2 weeks (once again today!) and it keeps coming through. Used their "unsubscribe" link and Gmail's "unsubscribe" and "spam" options. No luck.
.
Try unsubscribing from them
Try unsubscribing from them. They make it impossible. I’ve tried several times. They also give you an unsubscribe email address which you are supposed to send but even that doesn’t work. I hate these type of organisations. I would strongly advise you don’t sign up.
I found this site very difficult to use…
I found this site very difficult to use as an artist. I couldn't export the events into my calendar. I found the sync with other sites frustrating and half-worked and was counter-intuitive. But the most frustrating was not being able to see who RSVPed to my events. For an event site to make that difficult is mind blowing. Isn't that the whole point for an artist to be able to see that?
Shocking is an understatement
Shocking is an understatement, I would give 0/ - stars if I could, the worst gig I have ever been to with poor customer service and staff! We attended a gig here, the staff at The Six Six Cambridge were discriminative without reason and turned one of us away at the door. When I asked whether we could get our money back we were told we could and given a email to corespond with. I have since emailed with no response. I have Also reached out to Bands in Town and received no answer. If you find issues there is no one to correspond with (these businesses have no contact information for a reason!!!!) Stay clear! Do not waste your time or money!!
Do not use this company.
Do not use this company.
Just bought two gig tickets for Von Hertzen Brothers for The Fleece in Bristol for march 25.
Bought via Bands in Tiwn online.
No tickets emailed, contacted Bands in Town support via email, `Bradley` replied stating not our problem, Babds in Town does not actually sell the tickets.
Appauling customer care and service.
Scam site, do not use.

Brielle went Above & Beyond helping me…
Brielle went Above & Beyond helping me get my artist profile and upcoming concert in order. Now it appears on the upcoming concert page Saturday August 10th 2024 8.pm Arlington Music Hall
Unless you signed or going on tour this…
Unless you signed or going on tour this site is pointless for artist.
I couldn't download app onto my phone…
I couldn't download app onto my phone as version wasn't compatible. This meant I couldn't buy tickets for concert I wanted to go to.
Useless service
The site sends me emails of gigs on the actual week that the artists are due to perform. This is entirely useless as I usually have other plans for the weekend, cannot take the time off work or the gig is sold out. I have missed seeing a lot of bands I have wanted to see live due to this poorly designed system.
PRIVACY CONCERN - Facebook Access Attempt
PRIVACY CONCERN
Tries to access your Facebook account without permission
On the band pages there are buttons and links to buy tickets to a particular show. Clicking to get tickets will open a new tab to another site. Before bandsintown.com sends you there, it attempts to access your Facebook account.
I got a warning from Facebook because my permissions are all turned off.
If you want to to see this:
1. Log into Facebook in another tab
2. Turn off "Apps and Websites" permission
3. In another tab go to any band page
4. Click a button to buy tickets to a show
5. You end up on a page in Facebook asking if you want to turn on "Apps, Websites and Games" so that the website can "request my facebook info" and interact with my facebook features.
This is bad. Stay away.
The problem isn't the destination website. It's bandsintown.com that's interacting with Facebook. I confirmed this by looking at the url sent to Facebook.
Do not trust for ticket alerts
Do not trust for ticket alerts. I saw a gig I wanted to attend, tickets not on sale yet and couldn’t see the date when they would go on sale.
I decided to sign up for notification when they go on sale.
The notification came through almost 2 hours after the tickets sold out, completely useless.
Use other means to find out when tickets go on sale!
One of my favorite apps
One of my favorite apps. Always good to pick out a show on the fly or to see what’s coming up. Very convenient to order tickets through as well.
Never had a bad experience with buying…
Never had a bad experience with buying event tickets by clicking the buy tickets option from bands in town! And i have bought A LOT of tickets this way! Plus they keep me informed on events i love before they happen!
