Good products but seems systems are not…
Good products but seems systems are not great which makes staff somewhat edgy and the culture in store ( from what I observed ) defensive , antagonistic to each other and a slight wiff of passive agreesiveness towards customers.

No stock, unhelpful staff
Had to order the bbq and cover I wanted as nothing available in store . Informed that the bbq had arrived but not cover. 40min round trip to collect bbq to find that it was the wrong colour. No estimate of when anything will arrive in store.
Staff are too busy with constant lines of unhappy customers to answer questions.

We went to our local BBQ galore store…
We went to our local BBQ galore store in Grovedale Geelong Vic to purchase a new outdoor dining suite to no avail, we’re just told nothing available until late Dec early Jan 2021, the saleswoman did not check with the warehouse to get further information so we left the store.
When I arrived home I rang the Hoppers Crossing store who rang the warehouse and enquired if the product I required was available and it was and could be picked up on the 18/12/20. Next day I drove the 40 minutes to Hoppers Crossing and talked with Brian the salesman and brought the dining suite, a new cover and a candle and paid for it there and then. Could not be happier with the service I received at the Hoppers Crossing store, just disappointed that as a local in Geelong that store could not have been more helpful.

Strong customer service, with a focus on providing technical and or more social information to customers. Strong range that covers a majority of budgets, along with a support network that can facilitate warranty issues and or follow up engagement with the customer.

Some work to be done to improve customer experience
the store room / warehouse is unmanned, unsafe and untidy. also significant issues with the customer order follow up process, they expect me to call up on a particular day to double check the item has arrived, to add insult to injury no one can even answer the phone and follow the prescribed process and made excuses when i raised this issue with them.

i will be with you in a minute no ones interested in serving you .
Ohh ill get back to you umm there are 15 customers and i want to buy this bbq that costs 1299 dollars i pay that after checking it out and being ignored then go to move my car to the carpark on level 3 to load it up i re-enter the store wait up to 30 minutes for the sales people to realise omg this customer has paid already but they just do not care or give a f i guess i am pretty happy to go somewhere else next time .

in store service was great
EDIT AT BOTTOM: in store service was great. Got BBQ home and opened box to find it was damaged. Contacted store who were unwilling to replace with undamaged BBQ, but instead pushed me to the BBQ galore warranty dept. looks like no BBQ for me this weekend.
EDIT - Store manager got in touch with me and organised a replacement BBQ and a bag of goodies for my troubles. Very happy with the outcome, highly recommend. Looks like the BBQ is back on for the weekend!!

If they don’t display the products in the shop why go into the shop and just buy on line
If they display the products on line but have no stock or availability of stock or when they will have stock why have the items on line
