SHOCKING
We ordered a TV unit from this company, on the 12th of January. We spent a further £300 on ornaments and pictures.
The tv unit was delivered the following Thursday. That being the delivery/uplift day for Newton Stewart.
The rear right top corner, was damaged. Also the right hand door, had been pushed in. Jamming it.
It was uplifted the following Thursday.
We asked for the £699 to be refunded to our card. You either travel the 100 plus miles (round trip), to Dumfries for a card refund. Or they post a cheque.
We were informed that a cheque had been posted, on the returned date of Thursday the 22rd.
When the cheque finally arrived on the 31st. The post office stamp was for the 27th.
We had previously contacted them regarding the late cheque and had been told that another would be issued. So we emailed and asked what to do with this late delivered cheque. "You can bank it". So we did. It has bounced.
It is now the 2nd of February and still no refund.
The left hand needs to start communicating with the right.
Time to involve American Express.
