There are 5 main elements to the app.
The charting is easy to use, and very functional but lacks the more advanced features of the desktop apps.
There is a market screener which in my opinion is just OK, but many of the options are highly restricted or in a "black box" formula with pre-determined criteria, which I do not have confidence in because I cant assess it. Also, candlestick pattern screening is limited to North American markets only.
Fundamental data is included but it is very basic.
The Android app is rubbish, I don't bother.
It has a portfolio function but you still need a separate Portfolio App to manage your portfolio
Data download to excel is available but way overpriced compared to competitors.
I find their response to feedback to be scripted, patronizing, and incredibly annoying.
I recently renewed but if there is not a noticeable improvement in feedback, I will be moving on.

Just signed up today - too early to provide a conclusive opinion, but so far so good. Looks easy to use, lots of self-help resources, and doesn't appear, so far, to apply alot of pressure sales tactics (read the feedback on trading view - looks like users either really like it, or not) I was surpised to see only 1 review for barchart so I'm adding my two cents - i'll log in again later once i've tried it for a while.

Fantastic. Nice, clean presentation of data, a step up from their old look.
Incredible amount of information at your fingertips. I get Barchart Premier, and at $200 a year, it's a steal compared to some other services, given you get information on a variety of instruments, from crypto to stock.
It's also fairly fast. Screeners generally get the information you're after quickly, and you have a variety of filters to choose from.
A fine service.
