Very easy to order and loved no shipping charges.

All good I hope the shoe is comfortable and good for walking.

I ordered 3 pairs of shoes, 2 of the same in different colors & 1 different pair. I ordered all 3 pairs in the same size but even the 2 pairs of the same model in different colors didn't match size wise. One pair is a good half inch shorter than the other. That means only 1 of the 2 pairs is really wearable. Also, they were described to be leather but they're not.
The third pair is so awful I didn't even bother trying them on. They were supposed to be super comfortable sneakers but instead the sole is a rock hard piece of plastic lacking any kind of support. The shoe itself is made of thin fabric that is practically see thru. I basically spent nearly $200 for just 1 pair instead of the three I ordered. Normally I do a lot of research before I order anything from a new to me company but for some reason I didn't this time. That's not a mistake I'll make again.
I would strongly advise not to order from this company because you really don't know what you're getting and the company is nearly impossible to control. Last but not least, I'm not spending even more money to send anything back since it has to go to China!

The shoes I received were poor quality and had a strong chemical smell. The company's email initially was unavailable. I finally reached Charlotte at Bareroots and it literally took two weeks to get some type of resolution. They offer other solutions such as discounts 75% off on a different size of shoe instead of a refund. The return process ultimately i accepted a 30% refund. Returning items ultimately includes paying to ship back to China, clearing customs and your credit does not come until they confirm they received the return. Communication responses takes days from this company. Ultimately I am out one hundred dollars. Do not purchase from this company.

These boots are surprisingly lightweight but still feel strong

I recently purchased a boot for my son, the shoes came with defect and uncomfortable to wear. I emailed the company for return. They emailed back saying I have to pay an expensive shipping to China why don't they offer me a credit and buy another product. I said no, I just want to return then they said they will only give back 30% of my cost. I have provided the default of the shoes and explained the reason, they just stopped responding. This website is a total scam. Do not buy!

I needed a return and they took care of it. They did inform me they had an email issue and were not receiving my messages. Since they have been good at contacting me.

If you buy shoes, they will send you shoes. Are they low quality? Yes. Does it take a really long time to arrive (since they’re shipped from China)? Yes. Is it nearly impossible to return shoes that don’t fit or just aren’t good? Also yes. You have to ship them back to a return address in China, and you’re responsible for the expensive shipping fees that will cost much more than the shoes.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them. You’ll receive the shoes, but considering the low quality and the difficulty of returns, I’d rather shop from a more dependable store or website.

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! They responded by asking me to email. I have done this and finally contacted the BBB. With no help from BBB because no response was made to them either. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quality exceeded my expectations for an online order.

I would never recommend anyone to make a purchase from this company. I received a pair of shoes that I wanted to return and was never contacted after repeated attempts to reach BareRoots to return them.
Lousy craftsmanship and lousy customer service. The phone number is not even valid! I would rate them 0 stars if that was an option. Beware of this company.

There is no customer support. This is a virtual shell company. This company just takes orders as they come in and ordered from China. The shoes came direct from a wholesaler in China after about a month.

I need to exchange a size but their phone goes to a voicemail that just says to email them and hangs up.

EMail gets bounce backs.
Online form to contact gets no response.

Basically a virtual company with no real support.

I received a pair of boots that the color was too orange so I have tried multiple times to contact them and it comes back that the email does not exist…do not buy anything from them as they shut you out and their is no way to contact them….they need to be stopped and shut down…I’m turning them into the Better Business Bureau !!!

The slippers I purchased were terrible quality - really just shaped foam, and slippery! When I tried to return them, the email bounced, they didn’t answer the phone, and never responded to my online form submission.

The slides I received are too wide for my foot. I have been trying for weeks to find out how to return them. The address given for custom support is not valid, the phone number when called is just a recording and no where do they post a return address for a product. Stay away from this company!
