Fast efficient service with well maintained vehicles. Price was competitive.

It was a cheap option for a four hr car hire

When I booked a car on line the fact that it was not at the airport was not obviously stated, appearing as minor text at the bottom of the page simply saying 'off site'. I would not have booked with Bargain if I had been aware of this. Moreover, when I arrived at airport to find no Bargain kiosk or staff I rang the provided number, ordered a shuttle (dialing 7 from Darwin) but none arrived. I was provided with an automated msg with a map of Melbourne Airport! I rang again and was told as it was Sunday afternoon the office was closed and I would have to pick my car up the following day. I called 3 more times and finally managed to secure a shuttle to pick up my car - 2 hours later! I won't be renting from Bargain again and I will be providing commensurate reviews to TripAdvisor, Google Reviews etc. Also the price was expensive and the staff tried to trick me into purchasing excess insurance telling me that my third party travel insurance was invalid with Bargain. I watched another customer fall for this - it is a scam.

Great company to deal with. The cars are good and the staff are better.

Picking u the car was quick and easy the car was great size and condition everything about the experience was good

The people were fantastic to deal with. The office manager helped me out personally and fantastic with Price considering the time of year was the high season.

I booked the car for the wrong date but the lady serving me sorted it out for me and had a car waiting for me within minutes.

There was an issue with the pick-up at the airport. We were waiting in the wrong spot. However, maybe it was my own fault for not being prepared properly.
Other than that we were very happy about the cost of car hire and the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. When we needed to change the additional driver, due to an emergency, it was dealt with easily and efficiently. Thank you!

Great service, speedy access to shuttle bus, if it's at the same end as yourself (otherwise allow up to 20 minutes wait).

We chose Bargain Car Rentals as they had the best price. However we booked them through a third party web-site. We were told when picking up the car, although we had opted for insurance, we would have to pay Bargain up front and the third party company would pay us after. Also, we had a flat battery on the last day, but were unable to make contact with Bargain for assistance. Fortunately, a good Samaritan helped us so we could get to the airport to catch our flight home.

The staff are fantastic. Efficient and friendly. Your cars are great also. Very clean and easy to drive. I have been renting from you for four years and haven’t tried any other since. Thankyou.

This is the second time we have rented from Bargain Car Rentals and for us the experience both times has been really positive. They are certainly great value for money, they were always polite to deal with and for us being picked up at the airport was a real bonus. The car was clean and tidy and suited us perfectly. Would happily rent from them again and also recommend them to others.

Great customer service, the little MG got us around no hassles, good rental car but I definitely wouldn't buy one!
