Great customer service on picking up and dropping off car. We even got a complimentary life to the Airport via their Shuttle Bus. Our MG Sedan was spotless. Would recommend.

Great staff at the Darwin offices . Thanks for your patience.
I had some issues with pick up time.
Word of warning when booking if you refresh the screen before going to finalise and pay your pick up and drop off times will default to a different time and may no longer be correct. Check your pick up time carefully once booking is confirmed.. If you get this right the process works well.
Once I worked this issue out on arrival everything went perfectly. I will rent with Bargain again..

Good vehicles, easy return
The vehicles were good and the return was hassle-free. The description/signage for the shuttle is poor. A WhatsApp number should be provided for foreign customers, as they often cannot call it after arrival. This applies to both Carins and Darwin.

The car rental was a quick and easy pickup process once we got to the rental office. We did book them as we thought they were at the airport but arrived to find we had to arrange a shuttle bus to get to the office. The shuttle pickup was prompt; the car was clean and tidy, the kms allowance was ample.

The price for the week's hire was great. Was picked up easily from the airport and check in process was quick. And then the return of car process was easy as well.

Not enough staff on when we got in
Not enough staff on when we got in. took 1hour and half to process people and we had to find another accommodation for the night. we were booked for Adelaide River, but your policy states we cannot leave metro area after dusk.

Regarding your travel plans, our safety policy does prohibit driving outside the metropolitan area after dusk due to the significantly increased risk of accidents involving wildlife. We regret that the delays at the branch, combined with this safety requirement, resulted in you needing to change your accommodation plans for the night. We are working on our staffing levels during peak periods to ensure our check-in process is much more efficient in the future.
