Bargain Car Rentals was the most seamless car rental experience I've ever had. They had truly exceptional customer service. I liked that their price was reasonable and that everything ran pretty flexibly. A nice bonus was that they didn't charge for an extra driver.

Really easy and convenient rental experience. Pick-up and return were both quick, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend! Also worth considering the Platinum/full protection option for the extra peace of mind.

With any of our vehicles if you find they aren't as clean as they should be we do recommend you have a chat with the depot staff to be provided with a solution or swap into a fresh vehicle.
Hopefully we can welcome you again and provide a better service.

Easy rental process, affordable, truck was exactly as described, easy to drive, no issues. Friendly staff, plenty of times to choose from for pick up and drop off. I will hire again whenever I need a truck or similar.

Great hire company
Great hire company. Simple process, friendly and fast as well as very knowledgeable staff. Best for price comparisons too. Stock range of vehicles was impressive.

Credit notice required
The actual hiring of our rental car went well, we hired it for it for 21 days on the 25/05/26 as our own vehicle was having repairs following an accident. We returned the hired car on the 5/06/26 as our repairs had been finalised earlier than expected but we weren't given any written notification of credit or refund even though it was requested. It was stated by the staff member that the credit would show up when we use the rental car firm again. I don't feel confident about that happening particularly if we are hiring from the mainland

We're sorry that you weren't aware of the process for receiving the credit. You should have been advised to send an email to head office, and we will send that credit note straight back so that you can feel confident that the credit is available and in your name.
Just to confirm, any credit directly with Bargain Car Rentals does NOT expire, can be used at ANY of our locations and can be transferred to friends or family at your request.
