Dom is exceptionally helpful, taking time to talk us through all the options associated with our remortgage. We felt reassured that we were getting the best rate as he advised us on new rates appearing throughout the process.
He’s also been an excellent sounding board for working out affordability when looking for our next home and we won’t hesitate to use him when the time comes.

I can’t recommend Dom enough! As a first-time buyer, I was completely unaware of the mortgage process, but he made everything so simple and stress-free. From the very first meeting, Dom took the time to explain all my options in a way I could actually understand—no jargon, just clear advice tailored to my situation. Dom was incredibly patient, answering all my questions (and there were a lot!) while guiding me step-by-step, and made sure to update me that i would still be on the best rate during the 6 month wait till exchange. Dom made the process as a first-time buyer more straightforward than I ever could have imagined. He offered me expert advice throughout the process, from agreement in principle to mortgage offer, I was kept regularly updated throughout and he was very helpful and patience explaining everything to me. My wife and I recently contacted Barker Mortgage services to support with mortgaging an offer for a new home.

Firstly, Dom has a fantastic nature, communicates with great clarity, and is clearly very knowledgeable about his craft. This instills immediate trust and confidence in his services. With 'mortgages' being somewhat alien in how they work/types/rates etc and something we look at very rarely, having someone at the other end of the phone to explain (in detail) our options was incredibly helpful.

Dom is incredibly diligent and provided great attention to detail in working out our affordability and what we could sensibly borrow and at what cost (give his whole market coverage). Note, this was different to what we had forecast via the various publicly available calculators and big corporate mortgage service providers (given the challenges and lack of clarity in steps provided by some of the other providers). Dom working through this with us meant we were able to have realistic expectations and comfort in what we could afford as well as the various monthly repayment options based on the different mortgage products available.

Our situation required assessing multiple options such as porting our existing mortgage, as well as market wide research in order to work out the best option. Dom simplified the products on the table, saving us time and stress.

The house we intended to purchase ended up being sold to another buyer, however, we will be using Dom's services for all future mortgage related activities (remortgage on current property, plus our next move). I have also recommended Dom to family and friends given his talents.
