A Rip-off

I was quoted £500-£700 for a fine, hand-made art frame—about 40% higher than other London galleries and more than twice typical rates outside London for exactly the same item. Although I was shocked, I still agreed to a small repair on another item and was charged over £100; I later found the same job elsewhere for roughly a third. The workmanship seems okay, but the pricing is exploitative. I would avoid and try elsewhere unless you have no alternative.
