I had previously ordered a skirt through their Etsy shop and adore it. Naturally I needed another skirt and ordered through the website. The skirt arrived within a good time frame and it's beautiful.

I love the idea of upcycled silk saris being used. I love the fabric. I like how I look in it and plan on hand embroidering for my wedding; its a beautiful piece of clothing that should outsurvive me and I hope it does. It came in a cotton canvas bag and has a quaint scent as if you walked into a bazaar and bought it from the shop keeper themselves.

The item shipped quickly, though it had to go through customs and got held up by bad weather in the US. It was packaged well and had a bit more weight than I expected. The site warned that the colors may not be exactly as pictured due to careful lighting of the fabrics, which was the case for the bodice/dress item I ordered. The picture looked more pink but the description used the words plum and mauve so I was prepared for it to be more purple, which it turned out to be more of a raspberry/merlot color which is absolutely stunning. I also probably should have gotten it a couple inches bigger as this fits very tight on me, so I would say the measurements are pretty true with little forgiveness. Regardless it is beautiful! It’s very flattering and feels amazing as well. Just a smidge difficult to get on and off due to choosing a smaller size. Highly recommend and will likely continue to shop with Barocco Tribal. Definitely feel that it was worth the price.
