Called to enquire about availability and found the lady (Bryony) on reception to be obstructive and in the end rude. She had clearly made a mistake with the enquiry and obviously didn't like being questioned about it. Her general tone when I first checked availability was short so the second time I spoke to her I wasn't surprised she was short again. However I was shocked when she put the phone down when I politely asked how such a mistake might have been made. Terrible customer care from just an initial enquiry.

No ac in room , windows had no security device so could not leave open at night on ground floor stifling hot , tv in room broken , made reception aware of this no action was taken no apology given ,
Staff great in bar , restaurant and reception , obviously management do not care when they have your money and not willing to address the situation to appease or put right when pointed this out to reception , I would not stay here again .

My wife and I have just had a very memorable couple of days celebrating our wedding anniversary at this brilliant hotel. We cannot think of a single way it could be improved. Simply superb. The brand new outdoor spa is truly something else. Well done to all staff and thank you.

The Grade 1 listed Orangery at the center of the property adds to the grandeur of the venue and is a stunning backdrop for the wedding ceremony and reception.

They take pride in their commitment to making the special day unforgettable and truly yours. With only one wedding reception held per day, the couple and their guests can relax and enjoy their day without any distractions.

We were impressed by the venue's stunning gardens and the beautiful Orangery, which provided ample opportunities for capturing breathtaking wedding photos. The Orangery is well-maintained and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, we would highly recommend Barton Hall Hotel as a wedding venue. It's the perfect setting for a magnificent and memorable wedding celebration. The staff, facilities, and surroundings are top-notch and will undoubtedly make your day truly special.
