Base44 Is a great site and has helped me build a site for my business and make games. very easy to use and the staff are very nice

At first the ads seemed like it was like every other AI company anymore but the tools and features are better than the competitors, I got way more out of base than replit or loveable. The discord was also a huge help mods and support were quick and didnt make me feel stupid.

Needed an automated feedback widget that pulls all the relevant project info straight to our team.

Had it built from scratch in just a few prompts.

The whole process was incredibly straightforward. No technical headaches, no back and forth.

Loving this plattform
After trying several to vibecode I landed on Base44 and i got super excited. But what have kept me building is what I can see how Base44 is evolving and listening to their community/customers.

Great customer service, Drake helped me out on LinkedIn so much. The new Superagent is awesome as well even connecting it to WhatsApp has changed my daily flow altogether.

An open sewer. We struggled to build an app amidst a thousand credits and an AI assistant that seems to understand only archaic Japanese. Once the app is finished, you’d think the protection racket would end, but no. If you don't keep paying the 'kickback,' they block your access to the app. Recommended only for depressed masochists; for everyone else, Base44 is just spoiled Sake.

Base44 has helped me build what I need to build for my app. It may not be perfect all the way behind the scenes as I am not a developer. But when I need help even in support tickets they are there. Time of response is a little off but I'm guessing that is a time zone issue. Overall my experience with base44 and their support is satisfying and I hope it continues as so or much better as I am sure it will continue to improve! Thank you Base44 for you support and app builder agent.

I’ve had a very positive experience building with Base44.

For me, the biggest value is speed. I can turn an idea into a working MVP, test it with real users, get feedback, and improve it much faster than with traditional development.

I also think Base44 works best when you approach it the right way. It’s not just a “one prompt and everything is perfect” tool. The best results come when you break the project into smaller parts, test often, review what has been built, and treat mistakes as useful feedback.

That’s why I really enjoy using it. Base44 has helped me build practical tools for my own business and experiment with new ideas much faster and more affordably.

There is definitely a learning curve, but once you understand how to work with the platform, it becomes a very powerful tool.

Base44 has become home to the greatest build of my life thus far. The discord community, the support team and the app itself have enabled me to take my idea so far. It's now ranking in google alongside sites with millions in the budget. I couldn't be happier.

Just get a dev. If you don't have development experience it really isn't worth it. If you do have development experience, just use claude code. even if you don't have frontend experience, it'll be less stressful.

The thing is...
coding isn't even the problem. You can get to 80, 90% of the way pretty easily. But this service/platform does not help you with the launching. So you get perpetually stuck.

**If you need a mobile app**
This does not help you at all with flutter, swift, or other native mobile apps. even at minimal complexity, the system cannot keep up with you and you end up infinitely looping around. You get little to no help getting imports or variables sorted out through multiple files. I have built a Flutter app before, tried this, and ended up just looking for other solutions.

I’ve been in design and product design for 10 to 12 years, working with brands like Adobe, Wix Studio, Awwwards, Dribbble, Hilton, and Salesforce, and I can confidently say that Base44 is one of the most impactful tools I’ve ever used.

The easiest way I describe it is this: it feels like the Apple of AI builders. It just works, and it lets you focus on what actually matters, which is the vision.

What makes Base44 stand out is that it removes a lot of the traditional friction. Things like backend setup, security, and database structure are handled in a way that lets both technical and non-technical users build real, production-level applications. I’ve personally used it to build and sell tens of thousands of dollars in client work, and I would not have been able to move that fast without it.

That said, there is a learning curve, but not in the way people think. The biggest mistake I see is people expecting one prompt to generate a perfect app. That’s not how it works.

Base44 rewards process and clarity.

The difference between someone who gets average results and someone who gets great results comes down to how specific they are and how they think through the build. You need a clear vision, do a bit of research, organize your ideas, define your MVP, and then build step by step. When you do that, the results are honestly insane.

I’ve taught this process to hundreds of designers, and once it clicks, it completely changes what they’re capable of building.

If you’re willing to learn how to guide the tool properly, this is easily one of the most powerful platforms out there right now.

Highly recommend for builders, designers, and creatives at any level.

I've been a Base44 customer (Builder Plan, 2 workspaces) and I'm leaving after a textbook case of how not to treat paying users.
The product.
The pitch is "build apps in minutes." The reality is a glorified demo. As long as you stay inside the polished tutorial, things look great. The moment you try to build something real, half the features don't deliver what they promise. Most apps I built turned out unusable.
The cancellation.
Today was my third cancellation attempt. The previous two looked successful in the UI, but I kept getting charged. Today I finally discovered why: Base44 had silently created TWO parallel subscriptions on TWO different workspaces of the same account, both billed to the same card. Each "Plan and billing" page only shows ONE subscription and never warns you the other exists. So you cancel one, and the other keeps running quietly in the background.
The billing.
While trying (again) to cancel, my card was charged $50 the same day for the renewal of the "ghost" subscription I didn't know about. I cancelled both subscriptions on Stripe directly, because Base44's own dashboard kept showing one as "Active" even after Stripe confirmed the cancellation.
The support.
I had opened a ticket on March 29 describing the broken cancellation flow ("subscription schedule error, Cancel change fails"). I never received a single reply. On April 24 they auto-closed the ticket marking it "Resolved" with the message "we haven't heard back from you, so we've gone ahead and closed this ticket." I'm still trying to figure out what I was supposed to reply to, given they never wrote back.
The bigger picture.
Base44 is now part of Wix. Looking at recent Trustpilot reviews, my experience is far from isolated — the same patterns (refund issues, payment problems, unresponsive support) come up in review after review.
Avoid until they fix the basics.

Fantastic all round app. I've been using Base44 for almost a year now, and even in the early days it was a game changer for myself and also my businesses. I've been able to scale my operations and more within my business apps and also made various personal apps which have just been so much fun to create and build. I would highly recommend Base44 for anything and everything website & app related.

I think its the greatest tool, maybe the best...I've been using many tools, but this one beats most things. Except my Claude though, but i mean no one beats Claude- but Base44 is out there competing with the best known tool, you gotta give them some credits for that..
