Sold a 2022 MacBook Air and a 2024 high-spec gaming laptop to Baseo, and was offered just £700 for both. That’s not a discount — that’s daylight robbery. Both devices were in top condition, barely used, and together worth well over £1,500+ even at trade-in rates. I only accepted because I needed the cash urgently, but that doesn’t justify how massively undervalued the offer was. They saw vulnerability and exploited it, plain and simple. This isn’t a service — it’s a legal scam model. If you value your tech (or your dignity), avoid Baseo completely.

In October 2024 I purchased a HP Elitedesk 800 from Baseo in Romford. Recently, it developed some problems, namely it would just hang for hours and only a restart would help. When I took it to the Romford store, the guy took it in, worked on it for 2 hours straight and then called me to pick it up. Under the terms of the 1-year warranty the unit can be fixed if any part or parts where faulty. In my case I had too many programs running which caused the thing to slow to a halt. After a factory reset the unit is running at top speed and as a goodwill gesture there was no charge.

Went to buy a lens, negotiated a price which they said and I agreed. My bank card had issues so they suggested I go to the bank around the corner while they hold this lens for me.

After resolving my card issue, they saw me coming and quickly took the lens off display shelf as I walked in, telling me it sold on ebay.

I checked ebay listing and it was removed, only for it to be listed again next day and it's still listed there on the 21/01/2025 (ebay item number 326409191875).

Danish (I was told is the owner) had decided that the price they agreed to sell didn't didn't want to sell anymore.

On eBay this lens is listed as brand new and unused. However when I inspected the lens in shop, it had heavy usage marks with scratches on lens hood, body and paint missing from aperture ring. They have deliberately hid these flaws on eBay (I pointed this out to them in the shop and they acknowledged that it has been used and showed significant signs of use) they also admitted that the lens had been sitting on the display shelf for past 4/5 months. Price in shop was £1250, they agreed £1150, price on eBay on eBay £1650 or best offer.

Person who ultimately decided not to sell it to me is Danish. His floor salesman Shoaib had agreed to sell for £1150.

They are a total scam!!!!

Avoid at all cost. I should have read other people's reviews here first.

Extremely rude. Selling fake Pokemon games, when pointed out a game is fake they say they don’t care that it’s fake.

Purchased a phone from this company and it didn't work these people took my money and scammed me they are crooks I will file a complaint about there company selling faulty goods

Baseo in Milton Keynes..... Two most helpful lads with great overall knowledge on Apple iMac products & Monitors...... Bought the 34" curved widescreen for my mac mini pro...... Brilliant choice made easier by non pushy sales staff, straight & honest..... Refreshing change to communicate with people who know their products.

I purchased a refurbished Mac Air (2020) for just shy of £800 on Amazon (they pose as Dig 'n Delve on Amazon). The actual company is called E-Trade Tech Ltd.

I did a master reset to then be greeted by a screen asking me for an Apple ID which was not mine. I contacted Apple but they couldn't help without proof of original purchase (ie an invoice). I contacted "Dig 'n Delve", Baseo, E-Trade Tech and whatever other names they hide behind via Amazon to be told that they do not have the password nor do they have any documentation. They stated that if I return the Mac Air they will either refund me or a new one would be sent out. I contacted them again after not hearing anything back to be told that it is not their issue and to contact Amazon. So blatantly stealing my £800. I was baffled and still baffled. NO LAPTOP AND NO REFUND!!! I am now contacting trading standards. Stay away from these thieves by all costs!!! The fact that they trade with so many names on so many platforms is frightening. I am continuing to "Dig 'n Delve" deeper into the business(es) and will add to this review when I find out more details as I do not want anyone else to get stung and/or be out of pocket.

The nightmare of my trusty phone giving up the ghost, and obstinately refusing to re charge was solved very efficiently by Raj. Identifying a case of swollen battery syndrome aggrevated by age, he found replacement parts, replaced and stuck it all back together. It took a couple of days, but he ensured I was ok and I am delighted to report that the procedure was completely successful, and the fee very reasonable. Excellent shope, and top guy. Thank you, Raj

I went to this shop on sunday for the first time, and after I came back a second time and the Manager and another staff assisted me, he was very kind, helpful and professional. I spent two hours with them and they helped me by explaining everything I needed without charging me anything. I highly recommend this shop, the staff are great and they stock so many products :-)

After placing my order payment was taken from my bank within seconds, never got an order confirmation at all for my order, sent 2 emails and never had a response from them asking to provide tracking details, definitely will not be using this site ever again, appalling customer service experience.

No goods received nearly a week after order placed website stated 24hr despatch Have had communication other than order acknowledgement despite my requests for updates, very disappointed.

Yesterday we went that shop for shopping but the shop is closed before 21:00

Rude customer service over phone. I ordered Item from their shop and they don't want to cancel it as it was ordered by mistake and not dispatched yet. They don't even want to provide phone number to their "online department" that they claim is handling this order.

Based on my experience, you must avoid this place as thier customer utterly worst! Once you came out from store after paying it they wont bother you anymore, thats their policy. It was my first purchase from untrusted source and I regret for it.
