Update- they have asked me to come back and edit my review to state that after bringing this to their attention they have decided not to charge me for the status match.
I will say it definitely did what it was supposed to but it took an insane amount of time, like almost a month, then they had the gall to blame it on delta. I got an email from delta saying “we’ve received your upgrade request” then not even 24 hours later it was complete but it took Basis a month to send the request to them. I purposefully put the request in before I went on my huge vacation so I knew I would be spending enough to complete the upgrade challenge by. But Basis took so long they didn’t send it until after my trip and now they’re asking me for 400$ even though I have 0 trips planned before the upgrade challenge expires.

Communication around upgrade timing was a little messy — "only 12 hours to cancel" ... when does the 12 hours begin? Also the initial instructions for setting up ended up not mattering, so I wasted a few minutes of unnecessary busywork. Still, I got my travel request lined up same-day, so I'm overall still happy

I was a skeptic but David walked me through the booking I wanted and it was fantastic. I saved 60% of the airline cost

Throughout the process, the team made me feel comfortable and communicated every step of the way. An added bonus was the team was courteous in their communication. I already looking to use them for my other airline programs.

My upgrade was processed in hours and customer service was available during the timeline to walk me through what was needed. Was so much easier than anticipated and I have already been approved for complementary upgrades and flight changes and my status is less than three days old. This is going to save so much on bags and changes. Clear was extended to match during this same. Excited to be traveling so much during the time I have it! Thank you Basis for the A++ service.

I ordered AA Executive Platinum at basistravel.com on June 8th, 2024 (Order #6447). They stated that we can pay after the status upgrade is complete. However, no one has contacted me during these days and my account is not upgraded to what I expected. Even though I lost nothing, but still feel bad.

Will edit this review once I confirm the status upgrade is complete.

Great service, got help numerous times throughout the process and my upgrade was even expedited a few days prior to what I expected in accordance to a flight I had booked. 10/10!

Pretty solid customer service and the transaction worked as spelled out on their website. I initiated the order, they contacted me with a question, and once the order was processed I received an invoice. Contact with the company is primarily through texting, and it sometimes take a little while to get a response - but nothing longer than 24 hours. They are currently processing another order for me, which is taking a little longer than anticipated, but I haven’t paid for it yet and am not concerned as I know they’ll follow through.

Basis Travel is a fantastic source for airline mileage program match benefits. They provide exactly what they offer, in a timely way, and no charge is made until the transaction is complete. They communicate extremely well, and are courteous and professional at all times. Great company!!

Best service out there hands down. Ordered my first status and it arrived as promised. Was a little skeptical at first. Everything in the description came as promised. Will be buying again. Use this service. You will not regret it.

Contacted the customer support few times for questions and help. The response are quick and helpful. That's the catch for me. Of course everything else is just as great but the customer support is top notch.

I travel a lot and normally would use third party apps for cheaper rates but they don't normally offer great benefits. I learnt about this site from my brother who travel just as much as gave it a try. Holy great, the benefits are much much better than what the airlines can offer.

Excellent customer service and process. I am extremely hesitant about revealing any personal information. I was very hesitant and I definitely called them my fair share. I spoke to at least 6 different agents over the course of a month. They were all patient, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They made me feel quite at ease ( impressive as I am always extremely apprehensive)!
Within 10 minutes of submitting my information I had the payment in my paypal account.
I must say I am pleasantly surprised. A highly recommended company!
