The experts

I popped in earlier this week to get some clay which they had unfortunately sold out of - my own fault for not checking the website! While I was there though I asked about a kiln I was having installed and the kiln engineer on staff was very helpful. I left with a bag of new clay I'm yet to try and a lot of great advice up my sleeve. Thank you!

Thank you to the lady with brown hair & glasses on the front desk! I’ve only done pottery for a year and the lovely lady helped me get the supplies I could use at home - she explained everything to me really well and I wasn’t made to feel silly. Thank you for all your help!

Unbelievably quick delivery

Ordered a number of times and the items are dispatched almost immediately and delivered basically next day, even on Saturdays. Possibly the best online shopping experience I've ever had - so reliable and quick. Every time has been perfect.

Excellent customer service.

What a super experience. Ordered stuff it arrived quickly. There was a small mistake, I called the company and the phone was answered immediately by someone really helpful and everything was sorted out really easily and quickly. The right product arrived two days later. A real pleasure to deal with. Will definitely return.

They were unable to ship to Sweden even though they claimed they could ship to Sweden.

I ordered some products from Sweden because they said they could ship products to Sweden.

I placed the order on the 27th of May, and they said they have tried to send the order and got it back at least two times. They could not explain what was wrong with the delivery, and now, on July 16th, they just offered me a refund.

The staff was nice, but I just wonder why they claim to be able to deliver to Sweden if they are unable to do so.

Excellent company to deal with!

Five stars! Excellent and friendly company to deal with. Very knowledgeable and helpful. High quality materials and equipment at good prices. Everything arrives very well packaged and quickly and they're very helpful if you need more advice. Always had a great experience - thank you Bath Potters!

Awful experience that caused the loss of business!

Due to the range of items available on this website I desperately hoped to be able to use bath potters on a very regular basis! However having placed two orders and having had terrible issues with both I’m afraid this will just not be possible and I would like to warn others.

The first order arrived and the items came completely differently! I emailed the company several times and was totally ignored! Finally I called them directly to discuss further and request the items I actually paid for to be sent but was rudely told that they would not do this and to return the incorrect items would be at my own cost!

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed a second order at the very beginning of April! Nearly four weeks later and the items still hadn’t arrived! I emailed the company on four separate occasions chasing the items and received not a single reply! So again I had no choice but to call. I spoke to three people over the weeks only to be told by the first two staff members that the order was enroute! On the third and final call I was actually told the truth! I was advised that a small diddler (of all things) was out of stock so they hadn’t sent any of the items!

Naturally I was upset by this because I had been in urgent need of the glazes with customers waiting and explained this to them each time only to be spoken to with such disrespect it was awful!

She could not explain why her previous colleagues had not told me the truth nor could she explain why the voicemails and emails they had supposedly been sending me have never been received! I have had no such issues with anyone else leaving voicemails or emails and asked why they hadn’t then responded to my emails … she gave no explanation, apology or response!

As a small business owner it is imperative I be able to rely and trust the companies used for materials so to have been treated like this is extremely upsetting and so very unnecessary and sad!

As far as I am concerned they should have sent all the items available which was everything apart from one little sponge on a stick! This is exactly what every other company I know does and fear they only did this to save themselves the minimal postage costs, without any care or concern for me the customer or my business needs!

Why they felt it ok to take payment and then hold all the items back is beyond me! Let alone why they felt it ok to ignore a paying customer, to change their story repeatedly and then talk to me so terribly when asked for clarification!

I am a very patient person and rarely get upset but my experiences with this company have been horrendous and so disappointing! I had no choice but to ask for a full refund and just hope they don’t keep me waiting another month for that!

I will not be able to use them again unfortunately and lost several orders because of their behaviour! I have now gone elsewhere which has been cheaper even with next day delivery so I hope bath potters learn very rapidly how to treat customers with decency and respect so they don’t go bust as so many are these days!

Never has customer service been more important and I fear this is something severely lacking here!
