Rated 5 out of 5 stars

low prices, high service

Shipping costs are low due to enveloppe shipping. Therefore even a single battery can be cheaper than in the supermarket, although I recommend against sending just a single battery. You probably need more.
We bought very affordable 1000mAh rechargeable AAA which performan promisiyso far.
We also ordered a small battery for a thermometer. This did not work; although the voltage was high enough, power seemed to drop as soon as the thermometer was switched on. We explained this to batterijservice and without further hassle they promised to send us a battery of another brand. This one arrived within a week and worked perfectly.

Arthur

Hello team, and thank you for your work.

I’m torn because I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the delivery. I ordered in advance, not expecting it to arrive so quickly!

However, I received my 4 batteries (18650) with a voltage just above 3.41V. It's not a complete disaster, but it does suggest that the delivery may have taken longer than expected, or that the batteries were stored for an extended period.

This might seem like a minor detail to some, but for someone like me, who is almost obsessive about battery maintenance, it’s enough to deduct two stars.

Despite this, I think I’ll order again, but I will definitely check this same point next time. Poor charge management can lead to a battery lasting only a year or two, while good practices can make these same batteries last 10 years or more!

I would like to know at what voltage you usually store them in your warehouses, whether my batteries were an exception or not, and how long they might have been stored.

Have a good day and good luck!
Arthur

EDIT: I completely agree with your response but for me IATA only stipulates 30% SOC which is not directly related to tension but for a 18650 it would be:

100% SOC: +/- 4.2V
50% SOC: +/- 3.7V - 3.8V
30% SOC: +/- 3.5V - 3.6V

And I was expecting something closer to 3.5 even 3.6 and 3.4 is more 20% If they stayed a long period at 20% it's not perfect. I know you can make them last a long time compared to our old technologies but still, they last even longer if you avoid keeping them under 20% and above 90% for extended periods

Sorry to bother, have a nice day.

Hello,

Thank you for your review,
The batteries you purchased are completely new, straight from the factory.
Li-ion (18650) batteries are charged with a maximum of 30% after production.
This is a worldwide legal provision regarding the safety and transportation law. (IATA)
This means that the standard voltage is between 3.4 and 3.5 volts.
This type of cells has a very low self-discharge and can be stored for years, provided it is under the right conditions.

Kind regards,
BatteryserviceNL
