Asked for a quote in their online store, got a quote answer back via email with no part numbers, just a total including shipping. Then it took 4 days to get them to answer the phone so I could order from their quote, and they decided they wouldn't honor their quote because it didn't have part numbers on it. Sounded pretty shady, so I checked BBB, and this site, and am very happy not to have bought from them. They accidentally saved me from themselves - lucky me!

Garbage batteries fail after 12 months. Do Not Buy!

I purchased all new batteries for 4 UPS's around my house approx 18 months ago. SLA batteries should last 3-5 years under normal conditions. The UPSs all sit at 20%-40% load and I only experience power loss a few times a year (in which case the machines are shut down long before the batteries drain). Regardless, I started getting BAD BATTERY warnings from my UPSs after 12 months and they are completely dead now. Do Not Buy from Batterysharks.

Also the customer service rep I spoke to when initially placing the order was a bit rude when asked if they had any discount codes available. Be careful about order details

When I googled "APC backup 450 battery replacement," the link took me to a specific battery -- this turned out to be the wrong battery. I didn't realize how many different batteries actually match that description -- and neither did their website. Be aware that you'll need to check your specific APC model number -- and preferably the battery number (which you'll only find by pulling the APC unit apart -- not an easy job).

Their web support system has been prompt, and they pointed me to the correct battery. I had to pay to ship the wrong one back to them. And pay shipping for a replacement battery. But they will refund the previous charge. A warning on their web pages would save multiple emails, annoyance and extra costs. But the company has been otherwise good to deal with. Just be careful and very specific about ordering.

Bad Experience!!

Bad Experience!!!
These people have bad customer service, they don't accept the mistakes they make when sending the wrong batteries. I ordered a battery for a Yamaha R6 motorcycle and this battery has terminals (terminals) that are different from the connectors on the motorcycle's original cables. They are rude when responding.

Really bad customer service.

Really bad customer service.
I didn't call customer service to be talked down to.
The batteries were wrong but luckily I could use them for another backup.
I was informed the battery I needed was a custom size.
I ended up purchasing them from another company.
They told me there was nothing custom about them.

SCAMMERS

They sent the wrong batteries then they accused me of not knowing how amps work. Then they said if it's defective then just say so. We sent emails and they don't read it.
Shows free returns on Amazon but they gave us issues. Rude, condescending and absolute scammers!

Scammer?

Charged for a shipment that was marked undeliverable. Offered to refund one of two items purchased, but not freight charges (or the other item?) My shipping information was copied from PayPal, so the claim that the address was undeliverable is false. I should have been skeptical from the word go, being that prices were about 50% of everyone else. I will let my bank investigate, and charge back the sale. shop elsewhere..

This is the worst customer service I have ever delt with! Do not buy from them ever! They listed the battery wrong that I searched and then ran me around just trying to exchange, then after the run around, they still said it was my fault. The battery didn’t even fit the equipment and I explained that to them! They are a rip off and do not want to help! Do not fall for there lower price they will not work with you.

Would rate lower if it was possible. Customer Service is a JOKE. Asked the supervisor to speak with someone in management, he refused. Ordered batteries 5/9/2023, still have not received them. Called, emailed, chatted, no results. They keep blaming it on USPS, contacted USPS they don't have them. Checked tracking number, nothing other than label was created. Surely someone could find this order.

I ordered from Batterysharks through…Amazon

I ordered from Batterysharks through Amazon. My battery is now four days overdue and battersharks is giving mixed answers. First they said UPS messed it up, Second they said their warehouse guy didn’t get the order correct, last they said it has shipped. UPS says they aren’t in possession of the battery and never received it. When I called the customer service representative only regurgitated what the emails said and hung up on me when I pressed him for more information. He got a condescending tone and hung up. That’s the quality of batterysharks. Buyer beware and look elsewhere.

DONT LET THEM SCAM YOU, LIKE THEY SCAMMED ME.

I bought a battery from them through scambay back in April. They took my money, but never sent the battery. Now, they are refusing to refund my money.. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and filing fraud charges against them..

Needed replacement batteries for our mobility scooters. They recommended an upgrade and they worked perfectly. Shipping came earlier than expected. Will continue to use Battery Sharks. Thanks for great service.
