After reading this company's replies to…

After reading this company's replies to people with real issues iam not going near them.
Please remember customer is always right .
And by just replying saying you are not fault and we don't believe you is crazy.
Most of their replies do this .
Stay away or pick up your customer service .
Let's see if they reply to this
Thanks for your reply but I read so i don't get scammed by companies like this .
You could send me a free item if your so confident. Oh sorry i forgot to mention iam a carpenter and I've fitted plenty of your fittings looks like i have had the pleasure of installing your products. That fall apart within a year or two.

Diabolical service from Bayswater.

Diabolical service from Bayswater.
I purchased two Fitzroy toilets and two handwash basins.
I had the goods shipped over to Denmark.
Two years later and the cistern bolts broke in one of the toilets.
I contacted Bayswater direct about ordering 2 cistern bolts and the person answering the phone could not possibly have been less helpful, we can’t sell these parts and we do not ship to Denmark.
I wrote to Bayswater and i never recieved a reply.
Customer service from this company is zero.
I strongly recommend using a leading brand in future.

After reviewing the call, I must respectfully disagree with that assessment. During the conversation, our team member explained that we do not sell directly and are unable to send parts outside of the UK. As a UK-based company, we are only able to supply goods to mainland UK addresses.
We also advised that if you contact the company from which your items were originally purchased, they would be best placed to assist you and supply any required parts. They have a help section on their website where you can get in touch with their support team for further assistance. Many thanks.

Shame up about the follow on service…

We bought Bayswater through an intermediary. However a cabinet hinge has broken. I tried to make contact via the Bayswater contact form and no-one has bothered to reply. This is very disappointing as we like the products purchased. So follow on service is dire.

Warping of mdf on bath panel

Warping of mdf on bath panel, vanity unit and toilet seat within 6 months. Contacted Bayswater (several times) before they replied. Refused to replace under 10y year guarantee as water damage is not included. The extent of warping and swelling should not occur at edges that have not been cut or damaged. Completely inferior product relative to other brands. Poor customer service. Do not buy.

Ship was lost for a hap'worth of tar !

Unable to speak to anyone about a broken bidet tap - could have been fixed very simply. First problem, integral pop up waste broke after using twice - very flimsy but could have easily been fixed with spare part. Also tap spindle bent but this not obvious until lever became loose. Its a shame this company does not seem to allow reviews on their page as customer feedback can avert so many easily fixed weak points in manufacturing. Pity, it was a nice looking product

Bought a tap set in January 2020.

Bought a tap set in January 2020.
Noticed slight corrosion at the tip of the tap.
Contacted the company spoke to someone very quickly
E mailed proof of purchase and photographic evidence.
They have agreed to replace the complete set and promised me I’ll have it around 08/08/23.

Shoddy workmanship not fit for purpose

I bought a Bayswater toilet and sink cabinet in August 2021which were incredibly expensive but I loved the style and purchased from a reliable retailer in Dublin. The bathroom was installed by a professional plumber. I am distressed that after less than 2 years of minimum wear and tear, the screws from the toilet seat have come off and the wood is splintered and warped. The screw on the joint of the cabinet is also loose. Im trying now for a remedy from my supplier. Very unhappy at having spent so much money on shoddy workmanship. Warning for anyone considering this brand.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money, customer service is waste of time. The quality is rubbish.
I bought one off their seats and the hinge snapped in two, clearly a defect but they would not respond all they were interested in, was to sell me new hinge for over £45.

The quality of the products is rubbish. Design faults, cheap plastic fittings and non standard sizes. DO NOT BUY. When will the wholesalers and retailers stand up to them ans stop stocking this c%£p ?

No customer service. Faulty goods

I bought a Fitzroy toilet and sink.
The chrome plating on the toilet seat (over £100!) has failed after 3 months.
My attempts to contact Bayswaterbathrooms directly have failed. The telephone number is useless. It automatically goes to an answer phone messaging system. They never get back to you. I’ve sent two emails with no response whatsoever. It’s extraordinary, this company has quite an online presence and are supplied in many stores. Their customer service is ZERO.
They look nice but avoid.

Don't buy Bayswater

I have been trying to get a bath panel (which peeled) replaced. I also had two toilet seats which peeled. It was fitted in Jan 21 and started peeling in April 22 so well within guarantee and shouldn't be falling apart. My plumber and I have been chasing Bayswater for months. No resolution.

There are lots of bathroom suite providers in the same style with much better customer service and better quality products.

Design fault on Bayswater Fitzroy toilet

Purchased a Bayswater Fitzroy comfort height toilet and toilet seat (Bayswater are part of Hudson Reed group) on line. Had the toilet fitted, attached the toilet seat only to see that the toilet seat when open hits the handle!!! This to me must be a design fault but according to Bayswater it isn't. This will eventually mark the toilet seat. Sent over pictures to Bayswater showing how the handle hits the seat but still do not admit that this is a design fault!!!
UPDATE: Unfortunately this has nothing to do with the toilet seat it is where the handle is positioned on the cistern. I am not able to attach pictures here to show you, but I guess you know what I mean anyway. Never have I had a toilet seat catch a handle before. Everytime we have a visitor come and want to use the toilet I am going to have to say " don't lean back on the toilet seat, OH and don't pull the chain without having the seat down" !!! Great...
