I had to get in touch with BDA few times in the past few months with regards to various issues in our practice. I’m very thankful to Paula and Neeta for advising me to get through the difficult situations. I really appreciate the help and step by step guidance. Thank you.

Very prompt response. Neeta was professional and sent over a very thorough review of my contract. Definitely worth the expense for the service. Also very quick to respond via email.

Excellent and prompt response to a query I had over my annual leave allocation, and also for my colleague who had quite a complex annual leave challenge, having increased her hours over the year. Joanne Whistler replied promptly and demonstrated in such a clear and concise way to ensure future problems could also be resolved hopefully in-house. I would certainly recommend this employment relations team.

Having joined the BDA purely as an education / information source , it was their HR and pensions departments which I became so thankful for. Unfortunately I suffered a traumatic neck injury .This combined with being unable to work and having an unsupportive boss left me feeling that I was ‘losing the plot’. These guys combined their legal knowledge and language skills to guide me through to completion of my retirement.

I can't thank Harriet and the compliance team enough. For their never ending reassurance and guidance, with this ever changing world of compliance we now live in.

The BDA regularly provided me with prompt and valuable support with my concerns. The journals are an important read too.

Best dental library in London. Best access to past papers and journals, passed my MSc with the BDA and their lovely assistants.

The BDA, apart from being the recognised professional body for dentistry in the UK, is the most influential body to support in seeking best possible arrangements for oral healthcare provision nationally. The BDA offers excellent value for money, especially when members take full advantage of the many, different member benefits.

From the office in London right out to the tiniest branches and sections you’ll find support from those of a similar mindset. Templates and advice are great and the BDJ is a fab way of keeping up with your CPD

I have been a member of the BDA since student days. During that time I have had professional support and advice when needed. There has always been a Section or Branch meeting to attend wherever I have lived and that has been fantastic, both socially and educationally.
We need the BDA to support us professionally and as trade union - I have no hesitation in saying "join today"!

The resources on offer are incredible if you are prepared to look into them and see what's available to you!

Generally good, but it’s a a shame that undergraduate dental students aren’t able to use the BDA library postal loan scheme (hence the 4 star rating).

It is fabulous to be part of the BDA as a student. The BDA offers so much however I think the most beneficial aspect is the library. In dental school, I think it would be good if more students were aware of what the BDA is and the advantages of being a member.

I would definitely recommend joining the BDA as a student. As well as getting access to the BDJ both online and hard copies, you get money off some great events throughout the year such as BDSA sports day.
