At a time when mental health trainers/ consultants seem to be everywhere, it can be difficult to find ones that truly stand out - and that's what makes BDLD different. We are a two-man social enterprise that brings not just the knowledge and skills, but also a dynamic, thought provoking and, dare we say it, fun atmosphere to our delivery. Whether it's accredited programmes such as Mental Health First Aid, Government courses such as Enhanced Mental Health training or our own, bespoke, workshops, Big Dog Little Dog ensures that all learners return to work with the skills/knowledge needed to do things differently. An excellent course

An excellent course which gave me the most powerful tools to deal with a person who needs mental health first aid. Some of the course is quite hard hitting and can strike a few cords with regards to your own personal experiences, however that neing said it was like therapy.

Excellent and impactful delivery of MHFA. The course itself was well structured and engaging. Our trainer Kev was incredibly personable and authentic, leading to a deeper understanding and appreciation for what was being taught. Having completed the the MHFA course, I now feel I have a greater understanding of mental health and feel equipped to support others in crisis.

Fantastic!

Kevin from BDLD ran a fantastic 2 day MHFA course.
He was excellent at time keeping and had split the content into effective sessions, split up by small group tasks.

MHFA 2 day course at Kantar

I thoroughly enjoyed the MHFA course that Kevin delivered. Some of the subject matters discussed were sensitive and quite difficult and emotional for us as listeners but they were explained in easy to understand language for the diverse mix of people in the group.

I feel confident that I would now be able to recognise a mental health situation in the office or indeed within my group of friends or family and deal with it accordingly.

Thank you Big Dog!

So worth the time investment

A brilliant, challenging, sometimes sobering course delivered by the wonderfully expert Kev. I recommend this course to anyone who would like to be properly educated in mental health first aid. I have already started to put the things I have learnt into practice.

Highly recommended course

Kevin is an excellent trainer. The course was very informative and covered many aspects of mental health. I've learnt a great deal about this subject and highly recommend it. In most courses people take away information and manuals and don't bother looking at them but I will certainly be referring back to the course materials. I'm hoping I can use the information and experience from this course to help others. Thanks Kevin!
