Smooth customer experience, they serviced car for free and gave a good deal. When a minor issue arose with the car close to the end of warranty period they covered the amount no questions asked.

Car was a bit of a diamond in the rough. Was forced to do a trustpilot review before I left, very poor valet when I arrived to take car away. A month on still haven't had the V5 arrive, so I will... See more

Please go elsewhere, don't use these scammers.

We bought a car from Beadlow via CarFinance247 (who are about as helpful as a chocolate teapot) but that aside, CF247 recommended this dealer and they dealt with all the initial checks e.g. we were informed the car was serviced, MOT'd – it was just a case of viewing and collecting.

In hindsight, I wish I'd checked the reviews here first, but as our other car was written off just before Christmas, we desperately needed a car. On collection the car seemed in working order, although before even leaving the lot, the petrol light flashed saying it was running on fumes and the tyre pressure light came on ... not a good start. They pumped up the tyre and pointed us to a nearby petrol station.

We were then away over Christmas and New Year, so the car had very little use, then near the end of January, the car refused to start. After the AA and another local garage all looking at the car, and not able to help, the car eventually had to be towed to a Jeep garage for diagnostics.

I spoke to Beadlow during this process and they informed me to get back in touch once the garage had looked at the car, which I did, and the garage confirmed the steering column had failed, and the start/stop system had failed which in turn meant, the RF hub and various other parts would need replacing and reprogramming and we would be £2.6k out of pocket. Contacting Beadlow again, they didn't want to know, the guy said "not my problem" ... "it's after 30 days" and put the phone down.

Unfortunately for us, he was right, The Consumer Rights Act 2015, only allows 30 days in which case we could of returned the car, but our car failed at 40 days. After raising a complaint with CF247, they pretended to look into the problem, but having sent them the diagnostics several times and waiting several weeks, we had no choice but to get the car repaired on our own dime, thus 'depriving' Beadlow of their one opportunity to repair the car. (Let's be honest they never had any intention of this), and CF247 never had any intention of following this up in a reasonable timescale so as a word of warning to everyone, don't buy or trust any vehicle from Beadlow.

Easy to deal with

Accommodating staff, test drove a couple of cars, and was able to find a car I was satisfied with very quickly. The process was made very smooth.

The Most Disreputable Car Dealer

The most disreputable car dealer I have ever come across! I bought the Hyundai Santa Fe, reg GJ61 TOV, that's now back on sale by them again. It was a fairy story that the spare key and documents were in another office and would be sent on to me. They don't exist, not even the V5C! When I got home and looked under the car I saw the prop shaft to the rear wheels had been removed completely, so the car was no longer 4wd as advertised, which is clear misrepresentation, also deliberate deceit and its true value is far less than the £4,995 asking price. The photos of the car were all taken in January 2023 and it's now December 2023, so I'm probably not the first buyer they tried to con. I did eventually get my money back, but only after a very acrimonious and stressful process. Basically you cannot believe a word they say!

We like the car....but....

We like the car....but....

Upon purchase, the key didn't work (only one key). The owner advised his friend in Luton can sort this and once we pay, he will pay us back..please bare in mind...we aren't locals, we travelled from Derby. The one key we had only unlocked the drivers door and only manually. We arrived in Luton to a very friendly key fella, he checked the key and said it needed replacing as it wasn't working. This would be £150. I called the garage and he refused to pay this, refused to accept it what he said. He called the key guy and insisted he repair the key, he'd pay for it..not to replace.
We went for lunch.
When back, he showed me how the key was broke on the circuit. It had to be replaced, unrepairable...other than this, we were happy with the car so paid him £150. We now have a working key and a happy purchase.

The owner...Sir, you're a git. That shouldn't have cost us any money let alone £150. You're service is rubbish. I'd never treat a customer like that. If we got our money back, this would turn into a 5 star review.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever, we drove 1.5 hours to see a car we had seen on auto trader. We asked a few times on the phone, when we reached there the guy had a really bad attitude, couldn’t find the car and did not care, the worst costumer service ever. Seriously avoid at any cost

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I bought a car for my son they didn’t sort the tax on the day as still had tax from previous owner. They said it was sorted but months later still not. I’ve asked over 10 times for them to sort they just lie or ignore my calls. The log book they gave me was old and not valid. So we are still not the registered keeper And now having to wait for dvla to sort which is costing us money and now the car is off the road.

The dealership owners are scam artists…

This dealership used to be called Runley Motors Ltd.

They sold me a dodgy Clio. Took it back when the exhaust sounded like a machine gun and my local mechanic told me the emissions were off the chart. It was 2nd hand catalytic converter which was causing the issues.

The dealership said they’d fix it and had the car for 2 weeks. A week later, the engine light came back on my car and was so near inoperable, with the 2nd guy in charge asking how I even drove the car. This time they had the car for 2 months. They said they fixed it. Not trusting them, I took the car to my local mechanic who confirmed my suspicions.

As the car was on finance, I was able to get a complete refund, despite the dealership fighting the finance broker (CarFinance247) all the way and CarFinance247 ended cutting ties with the dealership. Which explains the change in dealership name.

I don’t care if technically it’s a new company, they’ve changed the dealership name & logo and nothing more. Same place, same dodgy cars and same people working there.

Also since the owner is the biggest a******e in the world, I will do everything in my power to stop people from buying from this dealership and make the same mistakes I made.
