I'm am constantly wowed by your product. Sure, there can always be more features, especially in the slide editing side, but the tech is magical.

I created an account to test it for slide creation and cancelled the same day via the instructions on the same day, as it wasn't suitable. However, my credit card was charged £127 for an annual plan I did not authorise.

I have reported this request and am requesting a full refund 146095. Also requesting confirmation that
My account remains cancelled with no further billing.

I created a Beautiful.ai account on August 29, 2025 to test it for slide creation and canceled the same day via the account/billing page because it didn’t meet my needs. Nevertheless, on September 12, 2025 my card was charged over US$120 for an annual plan I did not authorize.

I immediately disputed the charge and contacted support (Request #145004). As of September 15, 2025, there has been no response. After this happened, I found multiple public reviews describing charges after timely cancellations or unclear auto-renewal, which is concerning.

What I’m requesting: a full refund to the original payment method and written confirmation that my account remains canceled with no further billing.
Suggested improvements: clear pre-renewal notices, explicit opt-in for annual billing (not default), and prompt, traceable support responses.

Have been a customer for several years without issue. We had to cycle our cards within the company and had to update the card on file.

They use a dark pattern that automatically switched the billing to annual (it has always been monthly on our account - this is about as scammy as you can get). Immediately sent emails and attempted to call, as well as interact with their (nonexistent) customer service with absolutely zero response.
Next step is open in a fraud claim and BBB case (not that I believe they care.
BEWARE: this company has zero customer service or care for the customer.

Started getting charge attempts on CC even though I don't have an account with them (checked with my email address). Emailing support / info / billing @ beautiful.ai is useless as they don't respond. I reported their transaction attempts as fraud to my CC company.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Sept 10, 2025 - another charge attempt and no response to my emails to billing / info / etc @ beautiful AI. It seems their business model is to get a hold of your CC and then start trying to process a charge while ignoring emails to them.

Setp 12, 2025 - another charge attempt and despite multiple emails to billing / info no response. Their business model seems to be: (i) get a hold of your credit card number, (ii) begin trying to charge your card, (iii) ignore emails altogether

Sept 13 & Sept 15 - more charge attempts and no responses to emails sent to info & billing @ beautiful AI.

Sept 16 - Beautiful AI finally did respond and said charge attempts are being cancelled, we shall see.

A case study on why using a reloadable (virtual) credit card is a good idea when dealing with a dodgy company online.

AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

UNSUBSCRIBING WILL NOT STOP THEM FROM BILLING YOU. I was charged despite unsubscribing before the trial period. After being charged I asked for a refund and to have my subscription cancelled. They say they have cancelled my subscription and have refused a refund. If you are not intending on keeping your subscription EMAIL THEM TO UNSUBSCRIBE.

In addition to the billing issues I was unable to make a nice presentation with the site so it was also did not deliver on its function as well. I didn't have a lot of time to trial it so this could possibly be better with more time.

Super useful online tool to create presentations.

I have tried multiple times to cancel my account with this company. I can't log in to even attempt to manage my account because I'm taken to a screen to "choose my plan" every time. No idea why. I've emailed AND called this company; no response at all. I'm going to have to get our credit card company involved to stop payments for unauthorized billing. This is atrocious.

I signed up for the beautiful.ai 2 week trial (for the annual pro version), but at the end of the trial, I found it difficult to cancel. I was debited the annual fee of about $172.80. However, I finally suceeded in cancelling just a few minutes after the subscription had been made and money taken. I panicked and called beautiful.ai several times, but they didnt pick up. I went on to ask my bank to block them from any further charges in the future. I then sent beautiful.ai an email explaining my circumstances and requested a full refund. Within 24 hours, a "customer success associate" called Jojo Mariano got back to me and apologised with the nicest words you can imagine and immediately refunded the whole money that was taken from me. This person took away every panic/stress the whole processed had caused me with the waythey responded to my email. The person even provided evidence of the refunds as an email attachment. They are a genuine company. Now I am thinking of actually subscribing, eventhough I dont use the ai software regularly. It just feels great to use a service that you can trust. Beautiful.ai can be and should be trusted by current and potential customers.

I signed up for the 14-day free trial of Beautiful.ai on May 27, 2025, to test its capabilities. While I tested a few slides, I found that the platform did not automatically enhance the slides as advertised. As a result, I decided to stop using the trial on June 9, 2025 (the 13th day).

To my shock, I was charged for a 1-year subscription (USD 144) on June 10, 2025, despite not authorizing this transaction. It has now been six days, and I have yet to see a refund or any confirmation of the reversal. If I didn't hear back from them, I have to contact my credit card company to dispute this unauthorized charge.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution others against trying this platform. Unauthorized billing of this kind is unacceptable.

Beautiful AI might be a decent product, but their billing practices and lack of transparency make it feel like a trap.

This is a solid platform to create beautiful, branded slides. Plently of tenplates, easy to use and create a polished, professional and imaginative deck to suit you needs.

Once I login the screen just goes blank white. Cleared cache's etc…nothing. So now when I'm trying to cancel my "free"period, I cannot get to it. I Googled to see if they are a scam company. See mixed reviews.

Beautiful AI makes beautiful slides with very little effort.
It is able to create templates based on a prompt using AI tech.

I like the immediate results and the graphics of pictures and icons that are utilized. The critical feedback that Inhabe is that all of the PPT have the exact same features formatting , the slides have the same graphs and designs there is no variations . I have asked questions differently on the same topic and the basic layout is no different.

This software is great. But, sometimes, when I use ai to create slides, it doesn't incluye what I request. Also, I find difficult to "copy/paste" images from another slide or presentation. I thas to be the same slide format so I must "insert or replace" rather than "add" doing a copy paste.

I’m a student who signed up for a free trial with Beautiful.ai. Immediately after it ended, I was charged $224.82 AUD without clear warning that the subscription would auto-renew annually.

I contacted support within the 24-hour refund period stated in their own policy, but only received an automated message about a U.S. holiday. Meanwhile, the company serves users around the world - how is it possible that billing issues can’t be addressed in time?

I barely used the platform, and it didn’t meet my needs. I am requesting a full refund, and I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of responsiveness. I will continue following up until this is resolved.

I would not recommend this service based on my experience so far.
