Wow. I first developed gynecomastia in my early teens. It started as a small pea sized lump under my nipple. It shrank over my teen years so I did not think much of it. I have never taken steroids or any substances linked to gyno. Then in my early twenties it suddenly increased massively. Within a year it became a real problem. My right side was puffy but my left side was on another level. There was so much gland and fat that it folded over and bulged out. I threw out my fitted shirts, switched to oversized everything, avoided swimming and team sports, and felt uncomfortable any time I was socialising. I kept going to the gym to feel better in my body but no amount of lifting can shrink glandular tissue.

I found this page and Dr Nurein’s YouTube channel. His videos explained gyno, treatment options, and showed real results. He was realistic, careful, and clear. I had my consultation at the end of 2024. At the start of 2025 on 16 January I had my first surgery. This was the major operation to remove the gland that had affected me for years along with liposuction to take out the fat. A huge chunk of gland was removed from my left side along with 300 ml of fat and fluid. My right side looked normal in comparison but Dr Nurein still removed the gland to prevent a future recurrence. He is very precise and removes enough tissue to fix the issue without creating a crater. I also really appreciated that he takes a photo of the gland and fat removed after surgery so you can actually see what was taken out (I will not add a graphic picture though).

I will not sugarcoat it. The procedure itself is not pleasant. I am probably quite sensitive but even with local anaesthetic the start is rough with pinching, tugging, and cold sensations. Sometimes you feel pain and need extra anaesthetic. Once numb you still feel the pulling and the sound of the fat being suctioned. It is not enjoyable but living with the insecurity hurt more. The Sheffield clinic team were incredible. The surgical assistants were genuinely comforting with music on, someone holding your hand, and Dr Nurein talking you through everything. Afterwards you are given compression, pain relief, a lolly, and clear instructions on showering, compression timelines, and aftercare.

Recovery is tough at first. The first couple of weeks feel like you have been kicked in the chest. You feel tender, raw, and vulnerable. Even with a desk job I would say to take a week off, ideally two. Compression is tight but necessary. It makes sitting uncomfortable and sleeping has to be on your back. Abdominal aching from the pressure is normal. As swelling and bruising ease and stitches dissolve or are removed everything becomes much easier. After a while it just becomes routine.

It was made clear that a touch up might be needed and I welcomed that. I trusted him and that trust paid off. My touch up surgery was on 31 October 2025 at Harley Street in London. It was mainly to tidy up the remaining fat especially on the left side where most of the gyno originally was. This was done at no extra cost. Recovery was far easier with two weeks of full time compression and then four weeks at night. Bruising disappeared within a week. As I am writing this I still have a little swelling and a couple of weeks of compression left but the result already looks incredible. I have a flat chest. I have bought fitted T shirts for the first time in years.

The top up was still uncomfortable and I felt anxious but again Dr Nurein paused whenever I needed breaks. Even when numb the tugging and movement of the cannula are not pleasant but the final result makes it worth it. Contacting Dr Nurein genuinely changed my life. After the first surgery even before the top up my chest was already massively improved. It pushed me to go to the gym with real motivation because I could finally see the body I was working for. When you have a gland sitting under your nipple no chest press is fixing that. If it is just fat you can train it away. If it is gland it needs surgery. Do not fall for the myths online.

I have new clothes, new confidence, and a completely different relationship with my body. It has changed my social life, romantic life, fitness, and general self esteem. How you feel about yourself matters and life is too short to hate your reflection. If you can change it then change it. I used the finance option to make the cost manageable. Prices vary for everyone so I will not put mine here. Speak to the clinic yourself. What I will say is that it is the best money I have ever spent.

Bilateral Gynecomastia. Dr Nurein and his team were fantastic from the initial consultation to surgery. All information about the procedure was very well and clearly explained. The surgery itself was pain free and recovery slight aches but was to be expected. Would highly recommend Be Cosmetic to anyone thinking of having this treatment.

My names Fin, I had Gynecomastia gland removal and liposuction in summer 2023 with great results, I did unfortunately develop some scar tissue 3 months in to recovery which didn’t completely go after 6 months but that is normal and not down to the surgeon so I got back intouch with Dr Neurin and he got me back in for a touch up with liposuction free of charge and I can’t thank him and his team enough they all made me feel very comfortable throughout the consultation all the way to the end. Highly recommend getting it done here if you’re in the UK, very clean incision you can’t even tell I ever had surgery. Couldn’t be happier I’ve got loads more confidence with and without a t-shirt and have started eating a lot healthier since.

The process was effortless, I was so nervous, literally shaking with nerves, but the staff relieved me so much. The actual surgery wasn’t painful in the slightest, these guys really know what they’re doing!

Ok, so I had surgery august 2021!
After suffering for several years from taking steroids I devolved gyno,
So I contacted Dr Hassan Nurien - & his team, Hannah was very helpful in organising the video consultation with the dr, we had agreed a plan & booked in for the surgery!! All went very well .. after several months I noticed I had slightly more fat in my left chest, this was no problem for dr Hassan, he & the team booked me back in for a redo surgery which many of us may find we need! & I had that today 30/05/2022!
I can’t thank them enough, if you have gyno you know how much it affects mental health! In the most respectful way I hope I never have to see them again!! Haha honestly be cosmetic Dr Hassan Nurien - and his team are very good at what they do! Thank you again! Recommend any day

answered any questions i had and more all the way up until i had the courage to book my date

fast forwarding to the day of surgery i showed up a little bit nervous as you would be - the dr and his team were bubbly and good to be around really makes the nerves completely go - we proceeded to get ready for the operation again the team cracking jokes and making everything feel so much better

during the op they was very good by keep reassuring me and helping me was very comfortable throughout next to 0 pain and had a really good chat while being operated on .... all round amazing service and will fully recommend to any one who suffers from gyno

I have had Gynecomastia for a few years now, it has held my self-confidence back massively. From the moment I met Dr Nurein, I felt at ease and listened to, unlike my GP who said I would 'grow out of it..'. I am now 1 month after surgery and already so happy with the results! His team are incredible, a massive thank you to Olga the patient coordinator who was always at the end of the phone if I needed anything. Aga, the main nurse made the whole procedure actually enjoyable! I was very nervous but immediately put at ease - we were singing along to a Whitney Houston album during surgery and by the end of the surgery, I had the biggest smile on my face and happy to see the outcome. There was no pain, only a little discomfort when the local was going in. Aftercare has been great, very person orientated thanks to Dag who regularly checked up on me to make sure I was recovering well. Dr Hassan Nurien - Gynecomastic Genius

I have suffered with gynecomastia for as long as I can remember, those in the same position know how that affects their lives. After researching this condition for many years, I am now in my thirties and finally have money to get the procedure.

I searched online and come across Dr. Hassan Nurien, I visited the website and watched his videos on YouTube. I enquired about the procedure and set up a consultation at Harley Street site.
After speaking to Dr Nurien, I knew this was a procedure which I could go ahead with, as a week prior I went to another site at Harley street who, doubled my price, said they would cut my chest apart, I would have inverted T scars FOR LIFE and repositioned nipples – which frightened the crap out of me, so I did not pursue that any further.
Dr Hassan’s expertise in the field is immense, and it showed, I had the procedure in November, I was a bad, bad case, a grade 4 (severe gynecomastia), however Dr Nurien was confident he could enough to correct the condition.

A month later I can say I am over the moon with the results. I feel like I have a new lease of life and am most importantly there are no scars. Very minimal trauma to skin and surrounding area, you could never tell a procedure has taken place.
I feel I underpaid as the whole process from start to finish was exemplary and the pre, during and aftercare has been awesome.
