I needed a "sidekick".

I needed a "sidekick".
I'm an editor my self as well and I'm overwhelmed with the work I have atm. BeCreatives offers a "sidekick" which they really can provide. My editor is talkative and really easy to reach. Even with the 9 hours between us because of the time zone difference we can review each other and he respond technically fast for my changes. Would give a 4 for work but the communication is what makes it a 5 for me.

Not worth it - beCreatives for arond 3 months

Used beCreatives for around 3 months.

Price:
It was WAY OVERPRICED and the value is not there.

They do 60 minutes of long form content and 1 short form daily. They do not work on weekends, so you're only getting 20 short forms a month and the long form turnaround times are very bad.

On Upwork you can get really well done short forms for $10. This is $200 total value for 20 short forms.

You can also get an editor for $100-$250(max) worth 1hour long form video content. So a third of the price!

As for quality - they just use templates and don't do much outside of that. They complain for everything they need to do outside a template.

Look elsewhere. Not worth the hassle.

Overall, it was just a bad experience and money grab.

Very unfortunate horrible experience

Very unfortunate horrible experience. It started out "ok" and got worse as it went on. Only 4 videos in 5 weeks: two 5 min videos, one 10 min video, one 20 min video. The quality of the last one was so bad - only 4 slides with text only created for a 20 min video ..seriously? His second go at it and it was choppy, the images/text didn't match the audio ..basic things ..just bad. I was way too nice ..thought ..ok this guy is totally green ..maybe I'll be patient for his learning curve if they at least give me free weeks until the promised contract was fulfilled ..NOPE! ..they gave an extra week in which the guy didn't produce anything at all and then cut me off. Now I'm forced to seek action ..BAD customer service, inexperienced staff, completely not worth it ..and I'm the most easy going non picky person ever. My family saw them and said "Wow ..this guy is not in the right profession" and proceded to tell me all the reasons to get my money back ..they said it looked so cheap and crappy and I was being way too nice. I should have been tougher from the start as it just grew worse and worse as it went on to the point of ridiculous.

During our initial conversation, we recommended the Pro plan to achieve your desired goals. However, you opted for the Scale plan while maintaining expectations for Pro-level turnaround times. Despite explaining this discrepancy, the issue persisted.

Two Weeks for 15 seconds

I’ve been a Be creatives customer for a little over a month. They are not keeping any of the commitments made. I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for 15 second videos. This defeats the purpose of hiring a third party. My content is getting outdated & obsolete.

There has been some unexpected personal problems editor has had and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience it has caused. We've offered adding extra time to your subscription to accommodate that as well as the editor pushed more orders after that to catch up, making it a double accommodation overall.

Before coming to us, you have disputed the quarterly payment and we couldn't get a response from you, even though you've kept both submitting and confirming orders every day. Your bank decided in our favor, but I hope you've left satisfied as so many orders were confirmed and finalized.

We are sorry if you've had different expectations regarding the test task for the open position. If we paid for the test tasks, we would specify that in the application or when sending the test task.

Also, we wanted to add that the test task is not used for anything other than assessing your skills and the same one is given to every applicant. Meaning that we do not earn or use the edited test task for our gain.

We appreciate your feedback and we will be thinking about the option for a paid test task moving forward, especially if we reform the test task to something requiring more time than what is currently needed.

A highly disrespectful company that provides a copy paste demand for work as a first correspondence.

A highly disrespectful company that is forcing candidates to provide work for them, after only a copy paste email. I understand the need for creative tasks in hiring processes, and have done many before, but to be sent a copy paste letter as the first correspondence, is highly impersonal, and lets me know that this is an abusive and disrespectful place to work.

However, I’m really disappointed that the short experience that lasted for 1 email written by our HR brought you totally wrong impression of us. I wish you sent us the test task and joined a call with our head of production to experience what it is like to be part of beCreatives team of editors.

I am deeply sorry and hope you can understand that receiving hundreds of applications per month and selecting only the best candidates sometimes feels impersonal.
