I bought the flannel full set to help stay warm in our cold winter bedroom (fixed sheet, duvet cover, pillow cases) and it is exactly as I’d hoped. Lovely sheets and amazing customer service.

My order was shipped quickly, nothing to complain about here. But the box (a) was way too big for the contents, (b) was completely lacking any kind of inside padding, so the contents we rattling about loosely in the box, (c) was partly open after some the low-quality tape had come loose during transport, and, unsurprisingly, (d) the parcel was damaged, with huge dents all over it -- I was lucky it was just bed linen! The actual contents were intact, but out of the six pieces that were inside, three had severe damages to their packaging. It would have been impossible to, for example, give them as a present to somebody.

Solely in terms of service, I cannot recommend B.C. based on that experience.

Regarding the product quality (two complete sets of duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillow cases, six items in total, 125€)... I'm not convinced. What I found attractive was that they're made of Twill, my favourite fabric for shirts. And indeed, the items have a decent haptic feel to them. But what's been made of that fabric seems of questionable. The seams are sown very coarsely, and there's loose ends of threads sticking out in many places. What's most dubious is that there's no indication whatsoever as to where, and under what conditions, these items have been made. Not on the packaging, not on the next-to-useless label on the item itself. It was also interesting to see that, according to the manufacturer, these products aren't suitable for washing at >40°C.

Of course, they still have to pass the test of time, but I wouldn't be surprised if these B.C. products will be outlived by a similarly-priced set of half-linen-half-cotton bed linen, China-made, decent sewing job, bought at a major Swedish furniture and homeware chain, which I've been happily washing at 60°C for several years now.

I'm very happy with my purchase of 2 pillowcases. I'll certainly shop here again.
