We are beekeepers who are proud to be keeping bees in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The bees produce beeswax and honey which are direct products of that rolling countryside. Beekeepers of the Lincolnshire Wolds work together, as craftspeople to promote our products and the Lincolnshire Wolds as a place offering beekeeping courses and talks to educate about the importance of bees. Beekeepers of the Lincolnshire Wolds work with other stakeholders within the Wolds with the aim of protecting this important area.

Brilliant course, practical and visual learning which worked well for me
If you’re interested or thinking about keeping bees this is the course for you.
Will explains everything in an easy to understand format and there are plenty of practical lessons at his hives.
Cannot fault the experience at all.
Really informative course, I honestly didn’t realise there was so much to learn in keeping bees. We had plenty of opportunities for hands on practical experience in local hives too which really helped cement the theory side of the course. It was interesting hearing Wills beekeeping journey and others on the course too. We now have our own bees and are still learning with support from the group. Would highly recommend.
Will has a vast knowledge of all things bees. Not only are the sessions a mine of information, they are absolutely fascinating. Will has a way of engaging and encouraging, which comes very naturally to him. Darren is a star at the apiary too! There are also plenty of opportunities for extra sessions and a chat group to help with all manner of questions too.. I would wholeheartedly recommend giving one of the courses a try. You’ll be glad you did!
I had a fantastic time in the Wolds on a sunny Sunday. Darren and Will were great, and got me stuck straight in. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful, but also encouraged a hands on learning approach which meant I came away feeling like I’d had a great experience in a nice relaxed atmosphere. As someone who had previously no experience with handling bees, I would thoroughly recommend!
They were really friendly and very easy going, managed to answer all of our questions and it was a very insightful day. I’d recommend to anyone 😀
