Great customer support.

Using the Behmor roaster for the last 3 years, it’s been great. Had an error pop up yesterday emailed Behmor, response within the hour, problem fixed.
This is great customer support. Thanks.

Awful, will never buy anything from Behmor again.

Awful company. Their $200 coffee maker is controlled completely with an app, but they've disabled the app in an attempt to block people being able to buy and sell their products used or refurbished. It's absurd to imagine any company doing this. Imagine if Apple or Samsung made their phones with software that blocked you from being able to sell your phone when you get a new one. Despicable.

Edit: After posting this review I got multiple emails from Behmor making it even clearer just how much they don't get it. They tried to take the Apple/Samsung phone analogy and act as if allowing their coffee maker to work when resold would be equal to a used phone coming with free cell service and a warranty. Absolutely absurd. No one expects a warranty from the original manufacturer when they buy something used, but they don't expect the original manufacturer to block it from functioning either. Yes, you can still brew the max amount on default settings, but you can't change any settings and have to brew the full 8(if I remember correctly) cups every time. Behmor blocks you from any actual controls because you can't sign up for the app. If Behmor, unlike every other company in the world, feels the app working is equal to free cell service then don't make the app free but give new purchases a code to get it free. Back to the phone analogy though, if I buy a used iPhone I still have the app store, I still have "Find my iPhone", I still have iMessage, I still have Safari and Apple Pay and all of those things. The phone fully functions, Apple won't block that from being possible.

Finally though, they mistakenly seem to think I'm really angry with them over getting a coffee maker that they don't allow to work... Not the case at all, I don't care, I got my money back. The reason I won't ever buy anything from Behmor again is because I now know they'll make it practically worthless if I ever decide to get something new and sell my old. It's almost like when video games, music, movies, etc. pull the whole "you don't actually own this, just a license to use it which can't be transferred and we can revoke at any time" thing, but with an actual physical product. A $200 physical product... Honestly a great deal for how good this coffee maker supposedly is though, just too bad it comes from a company that makes cable companies look generous and caring by comparison.

behmor is a specialized company for …

behmor is a specialized company for coffee preparation. they are an excellent company with terrific customer service. their products can be bought from most coffee equipment shops and online from the large retailers.

i own the behmor 1600plus coffee roaster. roasting the coffee freshly is the only way of getting good coffee. the behmor 1600pus is a reasonably priced machine doing the job in a smart way. there are many variables and cycles which can be set in order to finetune the result.

support is outstanding. my machine stopped working and bob from behmor sent me the part within three days. i saw that on coffee sites like coffeegeek people are raving about behmor and the outstanding service of bob.
i can highly recommend the behmor 1600plus coffee roaster
