Being Ewe is an enterprise set up to help you learn a new skill, develop an existing one, or even just to create together with a friendly group in a centuries-old tradition. Being creative - and more importantly - having TIME to be creative has been a source of great joy and de-stressing to me. There's nothing like an hour of mindful stabbing (stitching!) to reduce anxiety, calm the heart, breath and mind, and reach equilibrium. I teach group events, currently in stitching, felting and mixed media textiles, but hope to find partner teachers to offer a wider range of activities, from knitting to painting. At times, these events are combined with mindfulness or other relaxation techniques. I am also available for 1-1 classes or groups

How could I not leave a review

How could I not leave a review, as Beverley is and was when we stayed in the Retreat, absolutely AMAZING and AWESOME!!!!!!!

I had been trying to find someone to teach me Cross Stitch, and finding Beverley was like winning the Lottery!!!!!

She explained how to do Cross Stitch, but not only that she taught me Back Stitch, Running Stitch and French Knot. She showed me how to do the said stitch and then encouraged me to have a go, and the feeling of elation, excitement just overwhelmed me - I can't really put it into words because she made my dream come true!!!!!

I have to admit that I haven't done anything since our unforgettable workshop because we are moving house, but when we are settled in our dream house, I know that I will put into practice my FANTASTIC knowledge and confidence that Beverley gave to me on that soooo memorable day!

Thank you soooo much for making my dream come true!!!

Brilliant workshops and very creative

I found being ewe during lockdown and have taken a number of zoom workshops. Each one is different and engaging and I have created many beautiful embroideries which hang proudly in my home. If I have chosen a kit, it always arrives in time. Beverley is a very patient and caring teacher, and I hope to attend many more workshops in the future.

Frustrating.

I tried, several times, to follow a ‘Get Tickets’ Facebook link. After 15 frustrating minutes, of going in the same circles of woolly info, I’m still no wiser about the most obvious consideration - the price.
All roads lead to giving my contact details, to be added to their database.
I was really interested but I’ve given up.

Hi Andrea,
I sincerely apologise for the issues you’ve had in booking. It does sound frustrating. I would very much like to understand more detail, as I can’t find the issue when I try it myself - but then I don’t necessarily see what you see. You book the event via my website - the Facebook event is there to “advertise” and let you know. I set the Facebook event up on my mobile phone, rather than the pc, so perhaps there was a setting that didn’t work. Your review was the first I was aware of an issue. All of my contact details are on the website, www.beingewe.co.uk and I’m happy to receive messages by Facebook. You can find the event you’re interested in at www.beingewe.co.uk/events. Please do contact me so that I can understand more detail about your frustration. I don’t require you to subscribe to book a workshop - but booking does require your name, email address and sometime postal address if I’m sending out kits.
Please do message me: admin@beingewe.co.uk
Kind regards,
Beverley.
