I phoned Belleek today as a table lamp arrived damaged. In all honesty, I couldn't rate them high enough for the way in which this was dealt with. I was expecting to be faced with a long drawn-out and complicated process (as is the norm nowadays) but was dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner, with respect and understanding.

The new teapot (for one) is very cute, but nowhere in the description does it mention a handpainted shamrock inside the cup. I was not expecting green paint inside the teacup. I would like to know if the paint contains lead, as this is a concern to me. Are there any other heavy metals in the paint, especially inside the cup? I've emailed Belleek with this question, but no one responds.

The packaging was phenomenal. I wish more companies packaged their products the way you do to avoid breakage.

The Claddagh Mug is a birthday present for my daughter. The Tea for one is in the curio cabinet which she hasn't noticed and I may just give that to her as a graduation present next year.
