A team that also includes excellent wild life guides, efficient administrative staff, and excellent communication throughout the entire process.

Traveling during a pandemic is a challenging task, even more so when one travels to Africa. However, that was not my experience because I had the good fortune of having Bellingham safari organize, coordinate and supervise my fabulous trip to Odzala National Park in the Republic of Congo. Their office in South Africa arranged my trip by developing the itinerary in consultation with the local Congo Conservation Company that runs the lodges at Mboko and Ngaga camps, and by facilitating the preparation all entry documents into Congo. Most importantly, they were in daily contact with me via WhatsApp throughout the entire trip from New York city and back. Needless to say that as result of their involvement and care my trip was problem-free, very safe and extremely enjoyable. In point of fact, I will organize another African trip with Bellingham safari as soon as Madagascar will open again - hopefully later this year.

After 10 years of using Bellingham Safaris, I can say that the tours have always been very good. The Itineraries are thoroughly planned and explained with photos of accommodations, wildlife and scenes that are expected. I have always been confident that anything unexpected will be addressed, making the safari an enjoyable, worry free experience.

We had an amazing experience on our family trip to Uganda in December 2021. Bellingham Safaris was available 24/7 to address any issues along the way. When our return flights from Uganda to Dubai were canceled just 2 days prior to departure, they were available to help us navigate changes. The overall itinerary, pace, and accommodations selected were perfect for our family and we highly recommend using Bellingham Safaris for their personal and prompt services. our Safari to Namibia was planned to perfection! Each detail and each and every lodge was spectacular! I believe we had the best guides in the country! Traveling during a pandemic isn't easy, and Bellingham Safaris was able to craft together a trip of a lifetime!! It was well worth making the effort. Namibia is a hidden treasure. What am amazing history, and strong people! And the Animals...well just spectacular. Thank you Namibia for taking care of these special species. We had special dietary needs, and they were all handled with simplicity and ease.

This was our fourth Bellingham adventure in as many years and, once again, it met the very high standard that they set from the outset. The travel and accommodation arrangements are fully thought through and explained, so you always know what to expect when and where, but the added thoughtfulness makes the difference. For instance, we weren’t just transferred by car at the start and end of the trip, but personally collected by Greg. At every stop a restaurant has been pre-booked after checking our preferences beforehand. They also have a focus on, and lend support to, conservation initiatives, which is very important to us.

After a stay at beautiful Kommetjie, where we had a great hike in the hills with Greg, we then transferred to Kwandwe’s Great Fish River Lodge. Kwandwe was right up there as one of our best safari experiences. There is a great variety of terrain and an incredible diversity of wildlife, more than we have seen before in one location. Our enthusiastic game warden, Ivan, and tracker, Sibo, were good company and highly knowledgeable and informative. Once again, having Greg from Bellingham with us was the icing on the cake as he worked with them as a team of eyes both on the ground and in the skies.

As an added extra Greg arranged for our party to snorkel with seals at Hout Bay once we returned to Cape Town. It was incredible to be examined so closely, and playfully, by a wild marine creature. A bit like being investigated by a fishy Labrador.

We can thoroughly recommend the Bellingham team for wildlife safari holidays.

We were lucky enough to spend 2 nights in Kommetjie in a beach villa, followed by 3 nights at Kwandwe game reserve in February 2021, organised by Bellingham Safaris. It was wonderful! Greg complimented the reserves own ranger and tracker perfectly with his amazing depth of knowledge but never intruding. The game came out for us and our sightings were truly spectacular, not just all the big 5 and a full house of other mammals but birdlife and plant life too. Our travels from ocean to bush were seamless, well organised and safe in these difficult times. A magical holiday to remember.

Bellingham Safaris have always been caring and attentive. They handled the Covid situation well. Kept us informed and re-arranged the holiday for a year later super smoothly.

Given the uncertainty created by the pandemic, Jen and team worked quickly and effectively with our lodges today postpone our Safari by a year. We have a high degree of confidence that they will do the right thing and have our interests in mind over everything else. I would add that South Africa appears to have weathered the pandemic much better than most of the developed world and I can’t think of a much better “social distancing” activity that being out in the wild with family.

The team organized the most amazing birthday experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world. They rallied together and managed to make emergency changes to travel plans due to the Corona lock down. Professionals and will use for all these types of travel.

In January 2020 we visited South Africa and the whole trip was organised by Bellingham Safaris. We spent 4 days in the wine country, 4 days in Cape Town and 4 days at Ngalla Safari resort in the Kruger.
It was a magical trip and Bellingham were amazing. Our guy in Cape Town, was Greg, who made our stay very comfortable and interesting. His knowledge of the country, the sites and the wild life is amazing which added a huge amount of interest to our trip. All the hotels chosen by Bellingham were excellent and Safari was outstanding. Bellingham Safaris arranged my trip to Odzala-Koukoa National Park in the Republic of the Congo. They handled all the reservations and paperwork needed to travel to this remote area. They were always helpful and attentive to my needs. My stay in Odzala well organized. We had professional guides, excellent accommodations and great food in a very remote part of Africa. The highlights of my Odzala visit were many: viewing the lowland gorillas, a motorized boat trip, viewing numerous species of plants and animals, etc. It was definitely the trip of a lifetime and I couldn't have done it without the expertise and professionalism of Bellingham Safaris.
Bellingham Safaris also provided a full-day excursion for me when I visited Cape Town. It was a well-organized trip to a San Cultural Centre and a national park near Cape Town. I was provided with a great driver and guide.
