Hired two bikes to cycle the prom

Hired two bikes to cycle the prom. The shop was well set out and stocked with various bikes and scooters. Hire bikes were comfortable, well maintained and lightweight. We had helpful advice from the staff member before we set off - adjustments made to cycle, etc. Staff member lent us an Allen key in case we needed to make further adjustments which was appreciated. £36 for two bikes for 3 hours we felt was a fair price. We will definitely do this again. Thank you.

Great bikes, but …

Rented five adult bikes - 15 each for four hours. A fabulous cycle to Bexhill and back. Really enjoyable. However one bike had a puncture. Luckily it was outside High Tide cycles who fixed it for £14. No refund from Bells Bicycles though, despite asking politely. A shame.

Lack of honesty?

Ordered a helmet in early April. Despite telling me it had been posted, I was unable to follow the Post Office link. Two weeks later, I contacted them and they said it was on its way but the PO were having time delays due to lockdown. The helmet didn’t arrive. In June they said they would post another out. It didn’t arrive and they they told me they had “just discovered it was out of stock” and would I like to pick another colour. I appreciate the lockdown has affected everyone, but i feel they have been less than truthful
in their communications with me. Waiting for my money to be refunded.

Fantastic customer service

I found the customer service to be absolutely first class. I ordered a bike and was kept very well informed of progress with delivery date. I cancelled the order before delivery as I decided to get an ebike instead. The service was still excellent. I would happily use them again.
