Covers for IKEA sofa bed well made and a really good fit

My sofa looks pretty good now. Love the samples option.

TLDR: There needs to be more transparency with attaching real customer images to reviews. I've had a challenging experience, now placing 3 different orders for an Ikea Karlstad sofa over the last few months - investing a significant amount of time, energy and money in trying to find a good fit for a replacement cover. Upwards of $600+ that could have gone to a new couch.
My first order was for the Brown velvet cover in loose fit. The fabric was grossly misrepresented online with the actual item being thin and almost see through cheap velvet. There was lots of give in the material, very stretchy and just sagged in all places. The material also collected dirt and dust easily. My 2nd order was the wrong dimensions, partially my fault for ordering 2-seater vs 3 when the same images are used. My final and last order was the Rosemary Linen cover - this one fit similarly to my first order. Super unfortunate the fit is poor, the color is a muted light green, and it just doesn't look at high end as I had hoped. Frustrating turnaround times on the refunds and high return costs.

The covers I chose fitted better than the originals and were much easier to put on. I had a sample of fabric which was true to colour. I am really delighted and would definitely purchase again.

I ordered this product at the end of November, expecting delivery in early January. I received no updates and had to contact customer service myself. I was told there was a production issue and the delivery was moved to early February.

After yet another delay and no proactive communication, I contacted them again this week. Now I’m being told there is another production issue—the same one mentioned before—and the delivery date has been pushed to early March.

This lack of transparency is unacceptable for such an expensive product. I’m extremely worried and starting to question whether I will ever receive it.

The company lost the samples twice claiming it on unreliable local post. Comfort works delivered its samples in less than 3 weeks. Since I could not get swatches I ordered two small pillows to see the fabric. Took a very long time to receive and eventually came with both fabric and structural flaws. Stitched so wrong you would not want to pay 1k USD for the premium fabric cover for the entire sofa. Very very disappointing given they have wider fabric range than comfort works, better PR, but it’s seems no quality control of its covers once made.

I ordered a cover for our Ektorp sofa. It is beautiful! The fabric is soft and a lovely color. It was easy to put on and fits like a glove. I couldn’t be happier with it!

The product (sofabed cover) is well made. The reasons for the 3 stars are:
1. The colour of the fabric differs vastly from the colour on the website (we have checked on three different computer screens as realise there can be a difference). Our mistake - we should have ordered a fabric swatch beforehand.
2. We received zero updates on the production/delivery time. The shipment turned up in my post nord app on the day of delivery (as stated on the order), but it took several days before the parcel was handed over to the courier.
Bottomline: some improvements can be made on the customer experience and a recommendation to future customers reg. ordering fabric swatches before placing the actual order.

As always, everything is neat and to the point. Prompt and fast delivery. The cover is even more beautiful than in the picture. We have definitely extended the life of our sofa by at least ten years by getting new covers every 3-4 years.

Unfortunately, the standard Ektorp sofa cover I received is too tight. It hasn't relaxed in shape and it pulls in the front and back. I'd suggest people order the relaxed fit version.

A bed skirt of great quality, I am satisfied.

The Jennylund covers and arm covers (regular fit) are too large. The fabric is sewn in the wrong direction as well.

Working with Customer Service. The CSR has been pleasant, but the process is taking a long time to sort out. They are willing to resew to correct the pattern --hoping to have the resolution in place soon.
