it took me at least a dozen tries to get the system to recognize any of my email addresses in order to complete my order for a rental car. I almost gave up, but the pricing was too good. it would only recognize my g-mail. thankfully I already had one. Comcast emails are not recognized, nor are yahoo ones or my private business or my KP address. This was beyond frustrating.

I reserved via beneplace.com a car to pickup from Poughkeepsie IBM road and drop off at LGA airport.
It was a DISASTER that took almost 1hour to get a car. The person at the counter told me that I'm getting a truck that was full of snow on top which he offered to clean and also in the back inside the track's open area, it was full of snow and water that was NOT cleanable and would make it impossible to put any luggage in it. The reservation clearly showed that the car must be able to take 2-5 adults and luggage. He offered me an SUV that was not cleaned yet which I HAD TO TURN DOWN too because there was a sign on the driver's panel showing OIL CHANGE OVERDUE and also gas tank was empty. Then he gave me an other car that had several scratches all around on the external paint which he documented. He told me that I can return the car with any amount of gas as a courtesy due to all these problems which we will see if accepted by the returning location at LGA airport.
While I was there as the 1st customer on the line there were 3 more customers behind me. A man and 2 women. While I was going through the above I noticed the man going back and forth too to a car he was pointed to take and also mentioned to the employee "forget it I'll use my own car" and then I saw him take off. The 1st lady was also in huge distress and she was been told by employee to call the customer service number while she was explaining that they had billed her already and did not have a car to give her. She eventually took off in her own car without taking a rental. The last lady, although she had a confirmation on her mobile phone showing it to the employee he was telling her that there is no such reservation for her and she too took off without a car.

prices on hotel rooms are very misleading. they tack on taxes & fees after you select a hotel room. So a room that says its $63 a night ends up being $350 for 2 nights. when you tap on the tax & fee line it says taxes are $203 on the $63 room but another hotel room that's $159 taxes are only like $40.

I have been using Beneplace through my corporate and it has been an useful website for a variety of things. Unfortunately the experience I had turned sour on Jan, 10th 2024 when I booked a reservation under trip id 1010717402 which did not go through the airline and I missed on the tickets. It was a very good deal that I will regret and the cause of the miss was :
1. A technical issue that was going on at your website which I got to know only after I called to understand why it was missed.
2. The dynamic pricing of the airline which is understandable
My complaint is that your website issue may have caused me to missed the deal.
Then I tried another combination of airline through your website and this time too it did not go through because of the ongoing website issue at your end. In order to get this combination of airline be successful as ticketed I had called your support team and they informed me that there credit card validation team will do a manual validation to book the tickets. This time post a manual validation of the card it was ticketed 5+ hours after it was booked through the website and fortunately the airline did not hiked the price while this manual validation was getting completed.

Try to check out from one like the price that I had and would not let me pay for it. I cleared my cart and I selected the same hotel and I selected the same dates and the price went up and the second time it did let me check out. I had to pay $51 more because the price rates went up within 10 minutes.
