I had an absolutely terrible experience…

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Ben Lyu’s e-commerce mentorship program. I paid $500 upfront and financed $3,200 through Affirm, expecting to receive valuable, expert advice. Instead, the program was a complete scam. The content provided was generic, unhelpful, and entirely things I already knew—nothing like the advanced insights that were promised.

When I contacted Ben Lyu to cancel the loan and request a refund, he initially claimed he couldn’t cancel it. However, after I filed a dispute with Affirm, he suspiciously changed his tune and said he could refund me if I canceled the dispute. This inconsistency raised major red flags about his honesty.

Affirm ultimately denied my dispute, siding with the merchant despite my evidence proving the program was fraudulent. I’ve since reported this situation to multiple consumer protection agencies.

I strongly urge others to stay far away from this program or any other business run by Ben Lyu. The mentorship program is a complete scam, and the business practices are misleading and unethical.
