while i agree that, similar to the UK's jeremy corbyn, bernie has largely stiluck to his socialist-guns, he has recently decided to sell-out his own values to gain kudos from the DNC and has let not only himself but also his followers down.
bernie found himself in the unenviable position of being 'out-socialisted' by non-socialists who hi-jacked his ideas and so left him without a position in the 2020 primaries. between joe 'hair-sniffer' biden, elizabeth 'pocahontas' warren and pete 'dont mention the G word' booty-judge, bernie was left without a base to identify him as an individual which means that now he has 'suspended' his campaign (i.e. he has quit but no refunds and he'll wait till he has given a speech at the dem conference before giving his support to biden) he has sold out TWICE.
sanders has alienated the US voting public because he cannot intellectualise beyond his ideology, any issue that arises can only be dealt with by socialism (i.e. communism) in his eyes, praising terrorists and continuously promising 'free stuff' and not telling those same voters that their taxes will inevitably rise.
with all this in mind, it-wasnt-a-heart-attack-honest-sanders political career has ended in ignomy (like most communists: loved by all until they see the truth behind the curtain) and he will not be remembered as a rock, a pillar of socialist ideals...but as a sell-out who couldnt see beyond his own bank balance and property portfolio...
