I signed up for the €7 trial
I signed up for the €7 trial, expecting access to the keto diet plans, recipes, and workout content that was advertised. Instead, I couldn’t find any of the promised content, which immediately made me question what the €7 trial was actually for.
When I decided to cancel, the unsubscribe process was almost impossible. The “unsubscribe” button never worked—it just kept redirecting me to a chat instead of letting me cancel.
I wasted nearly 3 hours trying to unsubscribe and emailing support. During that time, I was charged an additional €19.95 without my authorization.
I had to email the company directly and state that I was prepared to take legal action. Only then did they refund both the €7 trial fee and the €19.95 charge.
For me, the matter is still not closed. They refunded the money, but they cannot give me back the time, stress, and frustration this caused. Based on my experience, this felt deceptive and misleading, and I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before signing up for any trial.

The ad first appeared on my Instagram feed asking, "How many eggs do you need to lose weight?" It caught my attention because I was curious about the keto diet.
The only product I intended to purchase was the Meal Plan. However, during the sign-up process, I was presented with multiple additional offers, including a Shopping List, Premium Weight Loss Plan, consultations, exercise plans, and other optional services. The process became confusing and overwhelming.
I believed I had successfully purchased only the Meal Plan. It wasn't until I received notifications from my bank that I discovered I had also been charged for the Premium Weight Loss Plan and the Shopping List.
I contacted Best.me immediately to explain that I had never intended to purchase these additional services. Their response was that refunds were not available because I had accessed digital content, although they later offered a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. After several emails, they eventually refunded the Shopping List but refused to refund the Premium Weight Loss Plan, despite my repeated explanation that I never intended to buy it
Looking back, I wish I had read other customers' experiences before signing up. I later found many reviews describing similar experiences with unexpected add-on purchases and what people considered confusing or deceptive upselling during the checkout process.
My advice to anyone considering Best.me is to read every screen very carefully before confirming any purchase. If you only want the Meal Plan, pay close attention to every optional add-on and check your bank account immediately after signing up.
I was simply looking for help with my weight loss journey. Instead, I was left feeling frustrated, confused, and disappointed by the purchasing experience
