Small group tour of Yosemite
We booked the small group tour of Yosemite through Viator, we chose this company because out of the other tour companies this one gave you the longest time at the best spots to visit. The day before we got a text asking us to confirm we were still coming, then we got a call confirming where to meet for pick. We were the first pick up at 5:30am and were met by Phil who was so friendly and funny he immediately put us at ease, being the only people on the mini bus, which was nice and clean inside. As we collected the other guests he introduced everyone who had been collected already and remembered all their names and their home countries. It really broke the ice. Our tour was a 14 hour day but Phil made it fly by, he spoke about the history of San Francisco and all the places we drove through on our way to Yosemite. He even had specially made music playlists for the different areas we drove past (really nice touch). It made the 4 hour drive just drift by. Being a smaller bus we got to go places that the big tour companies cant go which was cool, he stopped for so many amazing photo ops and even showed us how to get great shots on our phones, The park is just an amazing place and I recommend everyone should go once in their life, and use Best Bay Area Tours to see it. At one of the stops my wife let slip it was her 50th coming up, so once all the bus was together Phil got everyone to sing happy birthday to her, it was sweet and she was so embarrassed. A really long, tiring day was made enjoyable, fun and informative by our excellent driver and guide Phil, who saw to everyone's requests and took us off the beaten track, we have been on tours before where the guide is constantly looking at their watch and you miss some things because of the schedule, but not with these guys, I highly recommend them and thank them for giving us some amazing memories.
