The bike fit and bike finder are great tools! Using them together has really helped me understand what I want from a bike and narrow down the options.

I'm new to drop bar bikes and I was lost trying to get my Cervelo Aspero dialed in to my body geometry. I'm also right in between a 54 and a 56 from what I can tell. I decided to go with the 56. Jaap and Best Bike Advice have been a huge help. I've put 196 miles on my bike with 93 miles based on the fit I received from Best Bike Advice. 40 of those miles were on XC single track in the saddle for 4 hours. I have to say that I am very comfortable and I feel like I can get a lot of power out of each turn of the cranks. I'm sure I may have to make some minor changes as I get more time in the saddle, but this is a great way to start. Being a licensed land surveyor I even brought photos of myself on the bike into AutoCADD to analyze my geometry. The fit I received is right in the sweet spot for saddle height, saddle offset, and reach from the saddle. The bike fitting holds up for in the saddle comfort, as well as pure body geometry.

This service is well worth the money in my opinion.

The bike fit measurements give me a very comprehensive way in adjusting my bike and it quite accurate. However the saddle height seems a bit to high for me, not sure if my error in measurements even though I took average from my couple of measurements. Yet they provided some other ways to gauge the correct seat height which is helpful. Now my bike is all good!

The experience was very positive, easy to follow and well explained. The system was even able to workout some of the measurements required which were confirmed by the manual measurements. Excellent!

I had a very helpful one-time bike fit, using several body and bike measurements!

The "fit" that I was offered was extremely close to the "fit" I have been successfully riding. Within the margins of measuring error of the human!

The ability to then play "what if" with some of the measurements (principally the seat post height) was interesting and matched some of the guidance and notes offered with the fit.

Ultimately - when I used the "suggest a bike" feature and was offered the exact bike I had purchased 4 months before - I had to laugh.

Failed to provide any sizes, even if the standard measurements were entered, and not my actual measurements so its not a miss-measure on my behalf. So took the money but did not provide an answer, frustrating.

Excellent online resource to get your bike setup measurements quickly, from home and in my case, pretty damned accurately for my style / frequency of riding. Highly recommend. The report is very extensive, with more options available beyond the initial setup measurements.

Good concept but I’m not sure I received enough information to make a decision on frame size.

While the fit and sizing advice is quite OK, the recommendations for specific bicycle models are lacking and have significant room for improvement.

Everyone with a road bike is usually pretty much capable of doing the basic measuring (and has the tooling). This site provides the important calculations that you need to do the basic fitting yourself. Especially useful if you buy a second-hand bike!
My personal experience is that I was able to check on 4 important points and did some changes, with as a result, wayyy less hurting from long rides.
