My first time purchasing from "Best Biltong". I bought Rusks and Crunchies from them. Crunchies were a bit too hard but good enough. The rusks were not so great. There was a hair on the rusks, I sent photos and a video but got no response at all. Shows me how much they value their customers. I won't be purchasing from them again.

Have been buying for years, lived in Guildford years ago so always went inshore. Moved away then started buying online.
Quality has dropped over the years
The subscription is slightly cheaper but had 2 subscriptions going, delivery went from £50 free to £70, no one made us aware so been paying more for delivery. Tried another subscription for Boerewors and biltong/droewors and only the Boerewors arrived paying another £7.99 for delivery. Let’s be honest, most products can be purchased in UK e crept for imported goods.
I’ve now found another South African butcher that’s closer, maybe more expensive but quality is so much better.

I bought the classic wet biltong and it was the best biltong I have bought in the UK. I bought some other products too. The shop assistant was wonderful both times. Highly recommend it. Thanks.

Worst biltong and dry wors ever.
Do not order the Wagu dry wors. It was like chewing sawdust. Definitely not a South African butcher making this product. It's horrible. Way too expensive. Don't mind paying if the product is good but this was shocking.

I read on here a couple of negative reviews about long delivery times, and felt compelled to write a review of my own experience. I ordered on Thursday at 10.30am, and my order was delivered by DHL Friday morning at 10am... less than 24 hours after purchase, my package was delivered! That's superb service! The delivery was free, too! Delighted!

They went above and beyond to help me! I ran out of what is to me an essential food item that is local to South Africa (the clue is in the name) I told them that I was ill and struggling to eat. I told them that I had not noticed I was running low and had run out!!! This was late Thursday afternoon and, despite their stated delivery policies because it is food I received my precious parcel by early Friday afternoon. Now I call that customer service!!!!

Poor delivery service. How can it take a couple of days to package and post 2 bottles of sauce. By the time my order does arrive it will be well over a week. Won't order again from them.

Would give 3.5, generally the food quality is good. But the service and website are average at best. Old skoll website, which displays pop up of what other people have bought. No relevance to your experience but also covers part of the view impacting what u can actually see. Also delivery service, don't expect anything actually posted / recieved by RM within the 48hr service they suggest. Speaking of non fresh items.( im not suggesting 48hrs from purchase) Takes 3-4 days to get the its been sent, always after end of business day, Royal mail don't actually receive it for another couple of days. The lag usually over a week. If this is the case, please just state it.

Ok, so here is where i am.......... I dont get the chocolate fed biltong, its not for me. The standard biltong is good but where these guys excel is their Drywors which is very good, perfect balance of flavour and dryness, its very good.
Give them a try, have made second order, trying something else.
