protection plan scam

When buying a phone the salesperson failed to disclose that I will be automatically enrolled in the protection plan, which will be automatically billed to my credit card. This was hard to see as it was a separate bill from my phone bill. The pecost ffectively nullified any savings. Good luck getting a found since I noticed this very late.

Joke when ordering

This place is a joke for ordering . Wish I learned from order I made few months ago, heard it had changed.. NOT!! I placed a 500,$ order to pickup at the store 1 hr away.. got email saying was ready for pickup at store 4 + hours away. When I called they told just order again and pay cash in store n you will get ur money back in the new year.. wth.. apparently she thinks $ grows outside my house.. lesson learned ill never recommend this place nor shop again.. they are a joke n ruined my grandkids xmas with thier stupidity. The address was correct and they changed it to store that had more in stock.

Beware of the ‘ market place’

I bought something from Best Buy, a Christmas present. No where on the confirmation email said it was coming from any where but Best Buy, then I get an email saying it’s coming from an electronics company out of Toronto. The product once received was taped in yellow, it was a returned item, like used? Huh
So I returned it and it cost me $47. Had I known it was not new and not from Best Buy I wouldn’t have ordered it. Thanks Best Buy.

Please think three times before buying…

Please think three times before buying anything from there marketplace platform. If there is any issue or need to cancel then there 3rd party seller didn't answer up to 2 to 3 days and then when you want to cancel then after they forcefully shipped that product and don't process a refund

I ordered a product from Best Buy…

I ordered a product from Best Buy online, and after waiting for more than a week, I received a message from Purolator saying that my package was on its way and would be delivered today. I stayed home the entire day, waiting patiently for the courier. After hours of waiting, I got an email saying that the courier “attempted delivery” but no one was home — which is an absolute lie, because I was there the whole time. The courier didn’t leave any notice either.

The next morning, I received another message claiming that the package had been delivered. That was another lie, because I didn’t receive anything.
I immediately went to Best Buy to ask where my package was. Unfortunately, the customer service agent told me that this was not their problem but mine, and that I had to personally contact Purolator and demand information from them. I paid Best Buy for the product and for the delivery, so why am I the one who now has to track down my own package? The customer service agent stubbornly insisted that they are not responsible for the shipping and that it’s my problem. This is completely unacceptable.
This shipment was sent from Nanaimo, BC, Canada with courier Route 667 and was supposed to be delivered to 3666 Royal Vista Way, Courtenay. The way this delivery has been handled is completely unacceptable.

Horibble Customer Service and Deliery experience.

Ordered a product online, was supposed to be delivered on December 3. Delivery was lost according to FedEx. Contacted Bestbuy on December 6, was told to wait two more days. Contacted Best buy on December 8th was told to wait one more day. Contacted December 9th, was told to wait until EOD, Now contacted Best Buy on December 10th and was told to wait an additional 3 days! Stop telling me to wait and just refund my money. You keep pushing timelines and holding my money hostage. Just give me my refund! You deal with Fedex and Stop holding my money.

Scam

Scam, I bought a subwoofer for over $500, waited 2 weeks to get it. Never ended up getting it, the item was undeliverable. They use a really poor shipping company (purolator) which is known for their scams. I have cameras all around my house and can see nobody even entered my drivway. Now I have to deal with my bank to get my money back as best buy doesn't want to do anything about it.

Best at False Advertising

Ordered a laptop on Black Friday that they canceled a week later claiming it was "out of stock" even though it was still currently in stock at the full price. Ultimately refused to honor their deal.

absolutely horrible--perhaps there…

absolutely horrible--perhaps there needs to be honesty and clarity with their website ordering. Assumption that your purchase is from best buy rather actually its a third party "marketplace". The consumer should be advised immediately at the time of looking on the site to purchase rather than after the purchase item. Terrible customer service and absolutely horrible

Best Buy SCAM

BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY.
"OPEN BOX" IS FALLS ADVERTISING. IT IS REFURBISHED.
BOUGHT LAPTOP ON DECEMBER 23/2024 AS "OPEN BOX "
RECEIVED 3.5 YEARS OLD COMPUTER WHICH IS NOT COMPARTIBLE WITH WINDOWS 11 AND NOT UPGRADABLE, SHIPPED BY THIRD-PARTY DEALER. BEST BUY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, YOU MUST DEAL WITH SHIPPER, WHO JUST IGNORE YOUR EMAILS (THEY DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR CONTACTS). "OPEN BOX" ITEMS IS THE JUNK. DON'T BUY IT!

Excelente service at BestBuy Canada at 10 Old Stock Yard

I had such a great experience at this Best Buy store. The staff went above and beyond to help me with my item, which was still under warranty but close to its expiration date. One of the managers personally assisted me and did everything in his power to make sure my product was replaced quickly and smoothly.

A special thanks to **Beni and Eugenio** they are an amazing team! I’ve been visiting this location for the past 5–6 years, and every time, both of them have been consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They always take the time to explain things clearly and make sure customers leave satisfied.

I truly appreciate their professionalism and dedication. This kind of customer service is why I keep coming back. A very satisfied and loyal customer!

Delivery / Resolution Failure

I ordered an item that was due to arrive 3 days later. Then the shipper lost it and changed status to "Still Calculating, Ready in 24h".

It's been like this for a week now, but Best Buy refuses to refund or replace the product until it's been lost for 7 business days (so 2 weeks from the initial order).

They cannot be trusted for timely deliveries, so buy in store or consider alternatives with a more robust delivery mechanism. I'm no longer ordering from Best Buy online ever.

Horrible online BestBuy experience due to Metro delivery company

The delivery company for BestBuy called Metro is horrible. Buyer beware. They come to your door and don't ring your bell. Instead they call you from an strange nunber leave no message and no text (scam calls anyone?). If you don't answer they mark you as unavailable. BestBuy cannot re-route your online order to a local store they ask you instead to contact the delivery company. The delivery company Metro does not answer calls, their voice mail is full and they don't answer emails. Horrible experience and shame on BestBuy. I will never order anything online ever again and I spent good money on this laptop order. What supposed to be a joyous experience turned into a very frustrating one thanks BestBuy maybe you should stop being cheap and hire a real delivery company!

Bad Experience Best buy online Purchase

Hi I have purchased preowned Mac book Pro through Best Buy online and does not mention anywhere that i am buying from market place.
There was a problem coming in Mac book like getting hanged and battery getting discharged fast.

I called customer service best buy and they refer to market place which i was not aware about. This was cheating with ,me. I would like to return the MacBook but they denied because it was more that 30 days and close to 50 days.

I had really horrible experience in best buy online purchase and I wont recommended to any one to purchase.

Appliance purchase

We purchased a new dishwasher yesterday at the Nanaimo BC Store. The young man who waited on us was very proficient in his job. He explained everything to us to our satisfaction, and then helped us load it into our car. His name was Kelden.

Assurance is a Scam, so is geek squad, and best buy purchases, buyer beware

Absolute nightmare of a company and their assurance Geek squad junk. They signed me up for a monthly payment plan for a tablet coverage without me knowing, just asking me to check boxes and charging me. When I finally found out they wanted 105 just to cancel the payment plan that was covering a whole lot of nothing. Absolutely disgusting predatory. They wouldnt even let you cancel the plan without putting in your credit card info. Best buy, that is the biggest scam in the world you are the worst.
