My experience was great because I was able to improve on many skills through fun and engaging simulations. I also had mentors that gave very helpful advice that helped me to improve throughout the program. I made many new friends and got to explore a beautiful city I had never seen before.
Advanced Camp - a great experience
My son did the Advanced camp after 3 years of middle school MUN. The level was just right. He built on the basics he learned in middle school while learning about more advanced topics such as “crisis” that he will need in high school. The leaders were energetic and knew how to keep the week fun and interesting while making sure the students learned. My son enjoyed it even more than he expected to. Overall, we are very pleased and we will be looking into future offerings from Best Delegate.
New confidence and work ethic
Our son found teammates and diplomatic fellows knowledgeable approachable and hard working and he really enjoyed researching real world topics. Hes not worked so hard and had so much fun or made friends so quickly.
My daughter loved the Tournament of Champions camp
My daughter, a rising high-school junior, loved the Tournament of Champions camp at Columbia U. She enjoyed the overall experience but especially valued the one-on-one feedback from her Best Delegate mentor, who was fabulous. She feels she will be a much better delegate this coming year for having participated in this one week camp.
First time who loved it !
Our son age 13 loved his first experience of Model UN. He is looking forward to continue attending it next summer and get involved with it in high school in his school. Highlight was learning about different countries and presenting your point.
Experience as an EL
As an English learner, I was nervous about expressing myself at first. But during the camp, I gave speeches, joined discussions, and even led a group project — all in English. This experience helped me become more confident, not just in my language skills, but also in who I am. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
Hard to find a better experience
I have never been so impressed with a camp. Jordan and his team were incredibly impressive. They provided an intellectually engaging experience during the day and a very supportive environment in the dorm environment at night. They “get” their kids - they knew how to engage them, complement them, and help them grow in all aspects. I will be returning to this camp!
Great experience for my high school…
Great experience for my high school girl! She learned, she practiced and she had fun !! Thanks for everything !!! Very professional and excellent camp 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well-organized MUN conference
The MUN conference was well-organized and ran smoothly from start to finish. The chair did a fantastic job of engaging the delegates and bringing out their best. The conference that Best Delegate offered was true to its name, it aimed to help every attendee shine, and succeed!!
So well organized
So well organized, and my rising 7th grade daughter LOVED it.
very well run!
The camp was very well run, especially for model UN newbies. They really explained everything well to the kids and encouraged them to participate. My daughter really enjoyed it and felt much more confident about her ability to be at a model UN conference. The kids also get to eat in the college cafeteria so they get a taste of what college life could be like.
It was a very fun experience
It was a very fun experience and was very good and informative I like it
A great program and well organized
A great program and well organized. What a positive experience
This week for my daughter was EPIC
This week for my daughter was epic. Not only did she learn policies and practices, but she also had the opportunity to be exposed to so much diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion! Michelle had a blast; the teachers constantly made learning fun. She can't wait to come back next year.
Aditi Ashok experience this summer at Model UN
I was impressed by the ability that kids articulated their points clearly during debates. Research was thorough, and speeches were well-structured and persuasive. I particularly liked how they collaborated with their team to draft resolutions effectively.
Best Delegate Has the Warmest Environment!
My son gained so much confidence from a Best Delegate’s inclusive, fun, and friendly environment. I loved how the program met each student at their unique level, with opportunities to research, take risks, and cultivate relationships through collaboration and creativity during the week-long program. Thanks to the talented young mentors’ wonderful example of positive engagement and professionalism, the atmosphere was filled with a joyful and intellectual atmosphere! I enjoyed see him make new friends while finding his voice and passion! He left with hope to come back next year and participate again! Thank you so much, Abby, Jason, JJ and Logan for your thoughtful leadership and inspiration!

My child fully enjoyed meeting other kids with similar interests! Terrific teachers and process. The learning experience was top notch
Input from my kids in their experience
Input from my kids in their experience: some of the afternoon sessions got cut short and they ended up with 30 min - 1.5 hours of downtime. They learned late that most of the notes they were tasked with taking were actually in the workbook. And it would have been a helpful note to say have a keyboard for iPads for note taking. Also the first day the afternoon snack wasn’t substantial, though they acknowledged it was course corrected by day 2.
