After I made some confusing decisions - I found that Good service by Emerald helped me rectify my situation and I was not left out of pocket - Many thanks for the humane response to a pensioner like me.

I asked them to cancel my membership as I did not intend to sign up for a membership. A member of their support team, Curtis, assisted me and assured me the membership is cancelled and all my information is removed from their website.

I opted for the Max Mara gift box at £6.95 and was directed to this website only to learn I had subscribed to a service that I definitely didn't want. Not sure if the deceit is the fault of Max Mara or this business.
I cancelled within 24 hours which was the soonest I was allowed to do so
I assume I have lost my £6.95 (not the largest sum to lose, obviously) but will also not receive the Max Mara gift box.

I didn't realise that I signed up for a membership. Harry from customer services was great help in sorting it out immediately. Many thanks
