I can’t find enough words to THANK to everyone in the team of Prof. Servet Rustu Karahan ! I had a gastric surgery 4 days ago and feel fantastic! Everyone I have met here was super friendly , very gentle, extremely nice and supportive- the surgeons, nurses, the translators, the drivers …. Absolutely professional work!!!! Highly recommend to everyone who needs their services! I would give 10 stars if this was possible! Thank you !

Don't get fooled. I was just stolen by the clinic and my friend stole my passport. They don’t want to give it back because they want money for it. Half of the treatments did not do me - and the money does not want to give it. We had a translator – there was nobody.

the hospital rents floors to clinics (Naya Clinic) - where patients are cheated and robbed. All staff laughs at it.

The staff and surgeon were very caring and professional. The clinic is spotless.
Nothing is too much trouble . The nurses were like angels. Mustafa my translator was a real star from start to finish.

Scammer:- I booked in general anaesthesia through Dr Sharif their sales advisor I went all the way from Manchester UK when I reached there they said you have to pay in advance and I paid my fee at consultation my English interpreter (Sami) and doctor asked me £300 more I refused to pay more then they took my blood test and said wait after 4 hours of waiting I called Sami and asked what’s going on and he said contact Mr sharif in office because we don’t do general anaesthesia and they already charged me for general when I refused to do in local and I asked for money back they were not giving my money when I started screaming they said they will take 400 pounds off from my fees. They took £400 even that was their own fault and made me wait 6 hours for my remaining money and I was hungry since last night for operation and then I have to come back without hair transplant I lost so much money on tickets and expenses so please don’t book with this company. I am looking for probono solicitors who can get my expenses back from this company.

I have recently returned from having a gastric sleeve with BHT clinic/hospital Istanbul, Turkey.
I want to stress I have not been paid for this review or even asked by them to write one, but I felt I had to share my excellent experience for those who were probably just as confused as I was when starting out on this journey.
I travelled alone which was a first for me and the experience was completely well planned with clear instructions. The coordinator Isabel Walker was amazing and so were my airport pick up drivers and meet and greets, they took any stress away for me.
On arrival the hospital was very modern, very clean and I was met with smiles of reassurance from two translator's that made my whole experience the best.
Nardia and Melih spoke amazing English, were very friendly and was able to answer any last minute questions I had. As you can Imagine having such an operation away from your family in a different country is scary in itself but they took all that fear away for me.
I was shown to my room which was like a 5* hotel room, coffee and tea facilities, telephone, mini fridge, safe, which I felt important for my documents, air con and complimentary toilet/shower miniatures.
I had my pre op tests done swiftly and everything seemed organised and not rushed. I have to say I was amazed at how clean and thorough everything was, they had truly left no stone unturned for my health.
The nurses on the ward were very friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble, one press of the bell and thy were there with smiles. Nardia and Melih didn't leave until I was happy for them to go which was extremely late on my first evening and were straight back the next morning for my op which was 6am at my request.
Professor/Dr Servet Karagul was my surgeon, again no one has asked for any review to be done but again I had to share. This professor was amazing, very professional, thorough and friendly. I would highly recommend him and even hope he will operate in the future for me.
I want to point out that I am not the average patient as I have a bleeding disorder and this has had an impact on previous surgeries for me here at home in the UK. Dr Servet made sure I had all the tests required and didn't go in to my surgery lightly, he prepared all extra precautions in case of the need, he altered my medication to adjust to my blood disorder. He was attentive and he made sure to visit me regularly thorough out my stay with a reassuring smile, His English was excellent and we were able to communicate as I would at home. Im embarrassed to say the care received was above and beyond anything I have received for the NHS or private in England, I wasn't a number I was a patient that they truly cared about.
I also don't think I could have gone through without Melih or Nardia, they were like family reaching water for me, helping me up, being there for my every need no matter how small. the combination of an experienced surgeon and emotional support from my translators made this trip/operation an amazing experience. The aftercare advice given by Dr Servet has been amazing and I have followed his every words. I am now day 11 with no complications and only two minimal scars that have already faded, I feel so well and this has simply been down to the care received by DR Servet and BHT. I could truly hug him for taking me on as a risky patient.
My return journey was just as organised by BHT which I was again met for an effortless supported assistance, I just wish I remembered his name.

This company only shows the beautiful examples on social media..
Once there, you will be picked up early in the morning for the operation to quickly sign some documents without giving you time to read. They are well covered for any problems.
they try to add some extra zones (for a fee of course)
J plasma works according to them only in combination with liposuction .. so I did. I've had many complications that I still struggle with daily

Have had the necessary lippomassages for about 1250 euros and already 5 months a faja suit (voor.de compression) and nothing helps ... and the only thing I get is the operation went well.
There are several people who get bags of blood there because I've heard enough by now. Semma is an intermediary from the Netherlands Healthandbeautytravel.nl who is friendly when a lot of money has to be paid.!!!
When there is a problem she stands behind the doctor and not behind the patient...

I'm very happy with the clinic. I made appointment for my mom to have oncology check up. They did great job, she was welcomed and completed all her medical main check up within 2 days. When you are flying in from overseas time is very important. Thanks Mustafa for your outstanding service. He went beyond his duty to accommodate my mother. Thank you for your guidance.

I'm very happy with the choice i have made by chosing BHT Clinic! The team was professional and friendly !The doctors took time to explain to me everything that is going to be done for my gastric sleeve surgery! The international office team were excellent! They follow my journey from the Uk to istanbul and also my return! They putted me in a nice hotel and provide for transportation from the airport or from from the hotel to the clinic! They enquiries about my health at my return and continue to do so! The follow up they offer is awesome! I can recommend their service to anyone who wants to receive treatment over there!

Great looking hospital but horrible staff. I stayed in the hospital after having surgery. The nurses who took care of me were terrible, rude and uncaring. I was refused food and water for 9hrs after my surgery because they miscalculated the time my surgery ended. I was left in my room and unable to move, I couldn’t reach the alarm and was ignored when I begged for water. The nurses were unresponsive and acted as if it was a burden to help me.

I chose BHT clinic mostly because of the excellent English communication from Emre. The biggest problem though is the fact that you are guaranteed “hair for life” from the email consultation, this is entirely unrealistic though.

The reality is you will have almost no say in your hairline except to be asked via a translator where you value your hair the most. I said the crown but received little hair there and (while he spent some time redrawing) the hairline should’ve been higher with a mature hairline with a contour of hair loss. Less than two years after the result looks completely unnatural.

The service was extremely poor. The transport from the airport was close to an hour late, and with different signage as advertised. Like other patients, I was offered an additional PRP treatment onsite. This was a clear upsell. I asked for a receipt at this time which was never given. During the lunch break the gentlemen hinted for a tip. Following the surgery a cab was haphazardly hailed in the middle of a busy street to get back to the hotel, which took some time with an exposed newly transplanted scalp.

The following day there was no consultation with the doctor (the day before I saw a patient from the previous day have a follow up). Instead, I was called to check out from the hotel and waited in a driver car for over an hour with a thick bleeding head support device. After some time I was checked in again with the service gentleman to the hotel who gave me some shampoo and took off the head support device. After showering it was only then I was able to leave Turkey.

The overall quality of the procedure was not that bad, one side has clear off angles of implantation though. I constantly look at laser and electrolysis to undo the work they did.

recommended that i have 4000 grafts ,

They have destroyed my donor area which now have bold patches ,The nurses did most of the work and i dont even know if the doctor was dr Cevik
3 years on and the hair transplant has failed and it looks worse than before , these guys are butchers do not go anywhere near them

I'm 3 years now after the hair transplantion.
They promised 4000 grafts, which transplanted but almost all fell off.
A year later, after many requests, they gave me another operation, but were willing to transplant only 1000 grafts.
The second time the results were good, so I have paid for 4000 grafts and received around 1500 after 2 sessions.
Please save your pain, don't use their service

I was really struggling which clinic to go to, Clinicana was my number one choice, because i saw somebody that had a very successful surgery there. But then i got talking to Kristina at BHT Clinic, she had a lot of knowledge about hair transplant, and she said DR. Cevik does one surgery a day, he doesn't run a factory, and results guaranteed. So i was sold, and i thought he does that because he really cares about the success of his surgeries.
I was really wrong, because, my surgery was a total failure.
first, they injured my scalp, but i didn't care if my surgery was successful, and also my scalp was very sensitive, for about year i couldn't touch anything with my head. But i was still hopeful, because i saw some hair growing. But now after 18 months, if you see my pictures before and after, i'm worse off than i was before i had the surgery. so don't make the same mistake.
I forgot to mention that they're extremely nice people, which helps ease my pain a bit.

You are sold lies over the phone and email in the pre sale stage! Don’t listen to any advice they give, they just want your money and nothing they say is real. The online reviews from other sites are made up by them so don’t believe that either. This is a real sham company!

The pain and longevity of the operation is ridiculous. They don’t care how much donor hair you have they will just operate anyway even if you are then scarred forever afterwards. I had smp before the transplant, that got completely destroyed as they had ZERO understanding or care of how skin repairs after.

As for the transplant results itself. You can understand success rates of the grafts changing from person to person... But these guys plant the grafts to high in the skin, meaning your head looks like it’s all lumpy, with spots, this doesn’t go away. Stays with you forever! The grafts are placed to far apart, means it look unnatural, this is forever! And the back of your head will have a big bald patch because they extract the follicles on mass and don’t strategically remove to keep it looking natural. So front of your head and back of your head is scarred FOREVER. They are absolutely not qualified. Their skill level is the worst not the “best” as they say in their name.

And if you ask about anything they conveniently forget English and then eventually ignore you and block you. They are absolute scum. They give no care whatsoever to how you will look after for the rest of your days. It’s now 3 years on from my treatment and I still can’t look myself in the mirror the same way. I’ve had laser treatment, more smp and countless scalp treatments to try and conceal the mutilation of my head after they did the transplant. PLEASE to anyone with half a brain DO NOT go with these people, they are hack job butchers and will turn you into a monster, NOT a better version of yourself.

As I was browsing through all the positive comments on BHT Clinic, I was persuaded that this is the right place for me. That wasn't the case and hence my reflection aims to set the record straight for all those still fighting to accept the new reality of their very own appearance.
My experience with BHT Clinic was overly terrible and I couldn't be more disappointed, to put it mildly! In terms of my personal comfort as a patient, the very same experience was as poor as it gets. I was forced to invest about 2h in looking for the driver who was supposed to be holding an orange poster with my name on it. Not only it wasn't orange but it was rather attached to a metal fence at the level of people’s feet where can’t be possibly seen. It was after midnight and my behavior apparently incited the police to approach me with a number of questions on suspicion for planning an outrage of some kind. I attempted to contact Emre but the late hours perhaps constitute a reasonable cause for not answering. Early on the next day, I was instructed to take the taxi that was allegedly waiting for me in front of the hotel at right about noon time. it soon became as clear as day that the driver didn't know where to drive to. As he didn't happen to have any command on English language whatsoever, he dialed a friend of his and unsolicitedly let me handle the talking. None of us, the driver and I, knew the final destination that we were supposed to go to. Luckily, there was a guy ahead waving at us. The examination of my hair took about 5 minutes to complete. No technique was involved to estimate the number of grafts I have in my donor area or the density that they should stick to when implanting back the grafts to my recipient area. Even more shocking was that my guide, the only other English speaker, wasn't aware of the arrangement made with Emre in terms of the graft number to be implanted or the price negotiated. The same person spent about 20 minutes convincing me to pay an additional fee for PRP treatment. I had to turn him down several times before he actually accepted my stand on the matter. I felt suppressed to a great extent which further led to my embarrassment and uneasiness because I wasn't able to afford it. Two people had been taking turns to work on me. I would classify their attitude as highly unprofessional and disrespectful as they obviously perceived laughing and talking loudly at my ears for most of the time to be appropriate demeanor. Moreover, Dr Cevik is the attending surgeon advertised throughout their website when indeed much younger one operated on me - perhaps my age (28 years) or slightly older. On the top of all, I was supposed to get 10 EUR back in Turkish lira later on but this didn't happen. I swallowed all of it hoping that eventually the bright sight will appear, i.e. the result will be satisfactory. Moreover, I wasn't given the “special cap” so I had to remind my guide of it twice. Imagine the additional discomfort that I was about to experience if I had to travel back home with all eyes staring at me. Since a year passed away, I can affirmatively state that the result is awful and the regrowth rate is next to nothing. Roughly 4000 grafts went down the drain. They did offer me a revision surgery but I rather insisted on being refunded as I didn't gain what I paid for. On the stipulation that this was my second surgery overall, I have not enough grafts left to address my hair loss problem in its entirety. Hence, a revision surgery that may prove to be as unsuccessful as the first one, will not stand as relevant or make it up for the wasted grafts and overall treatment I had to endure. I will never be able to fix my hair problem and to my request they reacted by ignoring me altogether.
By and large, everything felt organized at the last instant possible and to all those wishing to not go through the same path - pass up BHT Clinic and keep doing your research!

Just came back from a hair transplant procedure at BHT Clinic in Istanbul. I'm very happy with my choice, the team is friendly and honest. The doctor was present during the whole procedure, the team seemed professional, I feel like I was in good hands. The clinic is quite comfortable, although it might take a while to get there from the airport (probably the same for any location in Istanbul unfortunately, the traffic is insane). I look forward to seeing the results in a few months, my new hairline looks great.
