This company is an absolute disgrace…

This company is an absolute disgrace even if you need to change one letter on a booking they take almost 2 weeks to get back to you and then want to charge $140 admin fee and then $40 airline admin fee, I can understand some sort of fee but $140 is price Gouging..

Bestjet.com Worst Company ever

Worst Company ever, untrained staff. for a simple mistake of my daughter name who could have been changed on the day also I call them, I had to cancel my tickets and had a cancellation fee of 1280, it has been over 3 month now and the refund still not issued.

They are rip off

They suck, cheap but if you want to change anything they will rip you off. They charged me $510 for change. I called airlines and fair difference was only $120. And it was within 24hours of booking. Their repsesentative told me i can change within 24 hours and later they denied and said its same day policy. With 6 months old infant now we are stuck.

You can't Trust them.
They do not have a Address, only a P.O,
You can never reach them by phone so the only way to contact is e-mail (and they take a few days to answer).
I wanted to change my dates 24h after buying the ticket and they asked me between $450-$650 extra depending on the date (leaving 1 week after or arriving 1 week earlier). Waaaay too overpriced!!!
And now I can't find my tickets, it says that i do not have any future travels, Seriously?!! Waiting for their answer...

DO NOT BOOK

The bad reviews are sadly true. Book flights to Japan with them and they automatically changed me to a different flight. When I called them to fix it, the lady agreed that there was an error on the system and agreed to fix it. Weeks later there was a minor change in schedule that changed my flight to a completely different flight again. When asked to change it, the support staff were being extremely unhelpful and aggressive. This person I spoke to was called Charry and her passive aggressive nature was both unacceptable and insulting to me as a customer. I have had better service at KFC. DO NOT BOOK using Bestjet. They are cheaper but will change your flight and ask you to pay to get it back. It was a poor experience as a whole and I would never recommend this to anyone.

Completely incompetent! DO NOT USE THEM!

Booked a return flight from Sydney to Italy via Abu Dhabi at the start of June and received confirmation of flight at the time. Skip to mid Novemeber 3 weeks away from my flight where I ring bestjet to confirm a vegertarian meal option only to be told that part of my flight had been cancelled at the end of June! I had not heard a word from the company in 5 months to tell me that part of my flight had been cancelled and I was in fact going only to Abu Dhabi and back! I was given the usualy 'we're sorry blah blah blah' when asked why we hadn't been told the response was that the airline had not told bestjet (I rang the airline who told be they did in fact inform the agency). So I was told that they could request a new flight and confirmation would take up to 48hrs, over 48hrs later I had still heard nothing, I rang the airline directly who told me thankfully we were booked on a new flight, however the agency had yet again failed to communicate this with me! I decided to write a lengthy complant email. It's been over a week later I still have had no confirmation of a new flight from the agency or had a response from my complant. How useless can one company be! If it weren't out of sheer luck we wouldn't have found out about the changes until probably a couple of days before when I checked the flight information again. I wasn't even given a refund though we only had half a flight! They are useless!! DO NOT USE!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

Guys, BEWARE of this online travel agent!!! They will screw you over. By way of background, I booked a flight for my partner and I back in February this year. We were issued with an itinerary, eTicket, and a tax invoice immediately after our purchase. On 18 March, 2017 my wife and I were sent a revised itinerary and ticket, due to airline changes.

Today (31 August 2017), I called the airline that we are flying with to purchase extra baggage, as we realised that the baggage allowance for one of our domestic flight was only 10kg. To my surprise, the airline told me that my ticket did not exist, as it was "cancelled and refunded". I thought the consultant was pulling my leg, so I asked her to check her system again as it has got to be a mistake. The consultant confirmed that my ticket had been CANCELLED, and was apparently REFUNDED! So, to verify if the fare had been refunded I checked the transaction history of the credit card I used, and to lo and behold there was NO refund. As I booked my ticket through an agent, the airline could assist me further, and suggested I contact the travel agent.

I called Bestjet and spoke to a consultant. To their credit, I was rather impressed by the professionalism and calmness of the agent, given the fact I was completely irate and annoyed. I think I was on hold for more than I spoke with the agent. I must say, my dilemma was swiftly rectified, and my ticket got reissued a couple of hours later, with only some minor changes to the departure times. I sent Bestjet an email requesting they provide me with an explanation as to how this happened; I will post their reply here once received.

I am posting this because this was a very serious and dire mishap. Had I not called the airline to purchase extra baggage, I would have never known I had a cancelled ticket. Imagine how embarrassing, and stressful it could have been had we arrived at the airport, and be told that I couldn't fly out because my ticket didn't exist! So, I have learned a lesson to just stick with my travel agent, even though they might a be a tad pricier! But yea, BEWARE of booking your flight with this online travel agent - I wouldn't want you or anyone else to experience what I had to go through!

Do not buy from Bestjet

Do not buy from Bestjet. I cancelled a flight and made 20-25 calls to their call centre over 9 months to obtain my refund. After numerous excuses and promises Bestjet claimed that they would pay my refund but would only send the money to a credit card account that had been closed in the interim (rather than to a replacement card account or bank account that I provided details for). Still waiting.

Worst customer service

Booked a flight with best jet, and their customer service was equivalent to shot. They made us call the airlines and did nothing fromt heir side. They weren't able to organize our bookings. They did't allow us to change our booking and warned us to cancel out tickets and not provide refund as well. Never book from best Jet, worst agent ever.

These guys aren't that bad

These guys aren't that bad - I've used them (referred through another meta search website I used) and I had no problems with my booking or e-tickets, and got them within 24 hours after my purchase.

I did however have to call the airline directly to purchase additional baggage for my flight to Singapore (with Singapore Airlines) and they charged me a FORTUNE for every KG I was over-weight...

My two cent's from all the negative reviews on here .... "Read the terms and conditions!", it seems most of the bad PR here could have been avoided if the users read the T&C on their website before booking.

Outrageous and unjustifiable approach to reordering name on flight ticket

I booked a flight through Bestjet from Melbourne to Buenos Aires with Qantas many months ago. Yesterday I realised that my name was the wrong way around so my first name 'Maria' was listed as my last name and vice versa. Bestjet has just informed me that I have to pay more than $3500 for a new ticket to shift my name the right way around. This is totally outrageous.
Any person with common sense would see this as a common mistake that could be made so easily by anyone and evidently it is very clear that Maria is my first name.
To save yourself such shocking customer care if some tiny error is made please do not book with this website They show absolutely no good will to customers but instead require exorbitant amounts for tiny mistakes that could be rectified without much effort.

Current issue: One additional 'e' in one of two middle names on a passengers booking...$200 fee for the 'correction'. Qantas won't have a bar at it, blames Bestjet. Bestjet says the fee's are 100% passed on by Qantas.
The fee is a blatant money grab and clearly not a cost with some markup.
You can legally change your name in NSW for $179.

Switch and bait company, dishonest, make up different cancellation fees depending on who you speak too (if you eventually get through to someone!)
Shonky home run - Customer Service doesn't exist with the disgusting attitude.
Company should not exist with the amount of bad reviews online!
