Please allow me to clarify: when buying products from an EU-based company, the government in the receiving country will apply VAT and duties upon import. As of August 1, the UK has increased the duties on alcohol. For more information, please consult: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/alcohol-duty-rates
Moreover, the courier's brokerage department will charge a clearance fee of €13 per shipment. I understand that for a shipment of a single bottle, this may feel steep.
Before placing an order with us, it is explicitly stated that VAT and duties will be charged upon delivery. I hope you undestand that these charges are beyond our control.

Amazing service from Kris. He listened, solved challenges and then expedited my oder. From shipping to delivery in south Africa in 3 days. All at a very reasonable shipping rate. The value of his merchandise is great - especially on limited editions. The parcel arrived securely packaged with zero damages (this is important as I ordered collectors whisky). The manner of packaging is very neat and uber professional.
